Goalies are super OP right now. They just stop everything.

No kidding. In the demo I would deke everyone and try and deke the goalie, no success. I tried in free skate and the glitch spin works but nothing really consistent despite going very creative with it. I started scoring more when I would just shoot dumb shots. I get it I guess, more realistic but there needs to be a better balance.
Maybe you suck. The goalies are on the same cards we are.
What bud said was dead on, they let in unscreened floaters from the blue line but they stop 20+ shots from the slot like it's nothing.
Yes I noticed this as well they let in quite a lot of softies from the blue line but you have to realize how bad our characters are as Amateur 3 , the overall's are lower then they have ever been and it's really noticeable. We played a club game vs one of the better teams and dominated them play wise shots where 29-13 , possession time was about 65/35 in our favour , however we lost 1-0 and the goal they scored was the previously mentioned untipped/non-threatening shot from the blue line rolled right off the goalies pad into the net.

Yes I agree the goalies are better especially in the slot area but can't you notice that this year EASHL is going to be a lot harder until we level up to a reasonable level which wasn't the case in the past most players with skill could dominate with a Rookie grinder.
I've only played 3 games of EASHL and 10 or so OTP but it's definitely harder to do the simple things like passing/shooting/accelerating/puck handling.

They added Plekanec and Pacioretty's authentic faces. Then there's the players they had last year already: Price, Gionta, Kaberle, Subban, Gomez.
Also to chime in what others are saying about the goalies.. I've been noticing the same thing with the weak goals from the blueline. I mostly play Be-a-GM and I've been getting tonnes of goals with my d-men by just throwing the puck on net from the point. I've played about 15 games so far and i have 6 and 5 goals with Subban and Markov respectively while Pacioretty, Cole, Gionta, etc. are stuck at 2-3 goals.

I'm on Vet 1 and it hasn't changed much TBH. I even know people with legend cards already (boosted for them) and it's the same.
EA just needs to tweak goalies a little. There's no way the goalie should save every 2on0 by diving and catching the puck..There's no way they should allow backhands from the blueline in..

It must be pretty lame to be able to get legend in only 3 days (unless they purchased it somehow?) kind of defeats the purpose.

They just start games and quit out once the 2 minute mark has passed. It counts as a game played. Once you hit the card you want, you play a couple to get the grade you need.
