I can't see it, I think any prospect they'd want in Bingo would probably just go to Elmira. Prince was too dominant last year in the O.

Zanetti should have taken up jousting or soccer instead of hockey.

He may be one of the worst leaders in the history of sport.

It's fitting how he ended his major junior career, isn't it? I know I wouldn't have expected any less from him...

Of course. The guy was a knob, what could have been more fitting than to end his major junior career with his dumbest suspension to date.

Honest to God, to make the same mistake more than once is unforgivable.

He's lucky Dusseldorf is giving him a chance to redeem himself.

No NHL this year will have me paying more attention to our junior team. Went to many games during the last lockout. Could be the same again.

I can't wait to see some of these kids play. This years team is one of the youngest I can remember.

Went to my first Wolves game last night.

Such a different arena than the Civic Center. More of a classic OHL arena type thing, but potential for a great atmosphere.

TheSilfverBullet mentioned to me that he had noticed Soo's McCann in warmups, and I remembered that he was the 4th overall pick out of the Minor Midget London Knights AAA. Amazing player, make sure you follow his development.

This.

McCann stood out more than anyone on the ice. The kid has a fantastic shot, and has great wheels to boot. I'm definitely keeping an eye out for him in the next while.

How has Ceci played in this exhibition games? Just wondering if he has bounced back after a so-so summer camp with hockey Canada.

Ottawa 67's named Cody Ceci and Sean Monahan co-captains for the 2012-13 season. Alternates are Jake Cardwell and Tyler Graovac.

Thinking of going to the home opener tomorrow night, but I've got class until 5:30 and the game starts at 7:00pm. I'm guessing the odds that there will still be tickets in the red/black area are still pretty high considering the size of the arena.

Does anyone know how easy/hard it was to buy same day tickets at the Civic Center like an hour before a game?

Just don't want to buy things in advance in case I get stuck downtown longer than I expect.

An hour before? I've bought tickets there just before the puck dropped. You'll have no issues.

Thinking I might go. Also thinking I'll be thinking I might go to a game many times this season given it's now a 2 minute drive.

Any time before the game you'll easily be able to pick up tickets. 67's got a lot of walk up traffic at the civic centre, and i'd say it will likely be around the same at SBP.

I'm going on Oct. 14 against Kitchener and Nov. 18 against Plymouth, and I bet I won't the only one from these boards at those 2 games!

I think the longer the NHL lockout lasts, the busier the 67s games will be. For the price of the ticket, it's actually great value/atmosphere.

They have a really young team this year with some "question marks" but they have a real solid defence lead by Ceci and could really surprise some people up front with the young talent lead by Monohan. No Surprise those 2 were named co-captains

Co-captain and not stand alone captain? Bust.
