Great deal for the Bruins.

The only thing that could have made it better is if the term was longer.

Theres arguments for both...might have even preferred the extra 250k for one more UFA year.
Precisely why the "silly" comment is ignorant.

Well reasoned.

No, 67 points do... in your 2nd full season... at age 19. He has nowhere to go but up.

Not yet....the 2013-2014 season he will.

And by then he'll be outscoring him anyway so it doesnt matter.

So glad to see Boston's core locked up.

Every key player is locked up for 2+ seasons or will be an RFA when his contract expires.

Hopefully Seguin blows up next year and this contract looks like a steal. If he can bring the consistency, he could score 100 pts.

Great deal Comparable to Hall because of one less year and agrees my point that Eberle makes a tad too much

Good deal. Right about where all the other contracts have been this summer.

Great deal for the Bruins. That salary for 6 years is great. Getting paid Mike Richards money and will out produce him probably every year of that contract.

Also great deal considering what Hall and Eberle just got.

IMO of course Seguin>Hall>Eberle

It's crazy how close Skinner/Hall/Seguin are to one another in regards to being viewed so closely together that teams are giving them near identical contracts. That was a pretty strong top of the draft for forwards. If Brett Connolly, Mikael Granlund, and Burmistrov can pick it up it'll look even better.

Wow
Good deal for Boston.

As other posts have said he is better then Hall and Skinner and got less.

Hope this forces Kane to take his 5mm a year deal now

He's still got 1 more year left on his entry level deal.

This contract will be a steal. Great signing.

Beautiful deal for Boston - and I hate saying that. 5.75 is amazing for a PPG 20 year old. Good work.

EDIT: Wow, it doesn't kick in until after this season, even better. Right up there with Karlsson as best signing of the summer.

This is the ''new'' NHL...show me one solid season, you're set for life.

A steal of a contract. He has potential to be at/near the top of league scoring every year during this contract. Who wouldnt want that at this price?
