Does anyone else think that NHL 11's cards looked the best?
I've only seen the NHL 13 Demo cards but NHL 11 was absolutely the best. I loved being able to open up packs and know pretty much exactly what i was getting. Their was a noticeable difference between rare's, non-rare's, and Victory cards
Looks like pucks do carry over. If you go to the HUT mode, then extras, there is something there for "returning player bonus". I clicked it and it gave me about 9,000 pucks which is what I think I had left over from 12. Wish I sold a bunch of my players if I had known this would happen!
Anyone get the Stanley Cup edition and enter the code for the HUT extras? I entered the codes but can't figure out where to open my packs/get my Gretzky.
Am I the only one completely disappointed by the single player tournaments in HUT? Almost every tournament has some stupid requirement, and the ones that don't are either on Rookie difficulty, or superstar difficulty. Would it be so difficult to have a tournament without a dumb requirement on Pro difficulty like they've had the last few years? Playing the rookie tournament is beyond boring, playing on superstar is really frustrating. EASHL it is I guess.
How does one get their gold packs for purchasing the season ticket? I went to my HUT and got my starter pack, daily reward pucks, and pack from playing the demo, but I didn't get my pack for season ticket.
yeah....with juniors and euros being pretty much useless now it's gonna be a mad scramble for the star NHLers.
I'll see how GM mode is. Otherwise i might just take the game back, HUT isn't as good this year
Well its a lot better for those of us who haven't really played it before. Because once you get a player you like you get to keep him and not constantly worry about carreers ending, salary rising, contracts ending, players injured, it was just annoying and kept me from playing hut in nhl 12.
I also hated the fact that I could by Elias, Zubrus, Josefson, Henrique, Tedenby, Salvador all for under 2000 pucks.
They also did a smart move by giving free hut packs from everywhere possible. I have 25 hut packs for pre-order bonus and 15 (correct me if/when Im wrong) for season ticket so Im definitely gonna play hut this year..

Who did you guys get from your starter packs from your favorite team? I had Anaheim, so I got Parros, Brookbank, and Selanne, which was cool.
Yeah, I thought it was cool that they gave you players from your favorite team. I got Sullivan (Obviously doesn't play for the Pens anymore, but still lol), Vitale, and Lovejoy.

Yeah same problem here.
I also have a glitch where the pack I get for inviting a friend keeps showing up, its the one with all the consumables. Anyways I can open it every time I go to the store but it freezes after. I think it still gives me the consumable though.
how do you get the packs if you bought the Stanley Cup edition?
It's in my NHL outside of the HUT menu.. then go back to the store in HUT. Kinda crazy you can start with Gretzky... no Careers so I put a 30 gamer on him and I have Gretz for my first 35 games at least..
