With a 3.6 GPA, a 29 on the ACT and a job offer, seems to me you have the world by the balls. You should be able to pick a good school, get a lot of financial help and have every opportunity to do well. Whether you have done it right or wrong, who gives a **** what that even is, it's sitting on a tee for you.

ya well with no money, a terrible class rank, panic attacks, severe anxiety, severe depression and several trips to the phych ward I wouldn't call high school a success. I need to pay for half of my college education through scholarships and money I earn for work. I dont think I've done enough to deserve the school paying for half of tuition

Until you apply and do your fafsa, you won't know, simple as that. Life gets better after high school, I don't think anyone but a total loser would deny that.

Culk would know best, I know at the least you will get interest free student loans. I know it depends on what your family income is as far as grants and such but I think the sky is the limit.

Class rank is overrated. GPA is what really matters, and if you have a 3.6, you're doing better than probably 98% of kids around the country.

I understand how you probably feel about your anxiety and depression, and under such circumstances I would recommend two things (based on the experiences of people I know):

1. Aim for a smaller school. You'll have a stronger support network.
2. Tell the administration about what's been going on the second you get there. A lot of schools offer support for these kinds of things. Even if they don't, you'll at least have it on record with them in case it ever causes problems.

It also sounds like you should have absolutely no issue getting financial aid. Hell, I got financial aid and I left high school with a GPA hovering around 2.5.

High school was so terrible, college is so great. One of the reasons I advise people to go to bigger colleges is because you run into that high school clique mentality at smaller colleges. Thats not to say that you go to college and everyone is awesome, but at a big university if you don't like a group of people, you never have to see them again if you don't want to.

The one with the mountains is Florence, the other is Venice... we got some pretty damn amazing pictures, and hit up some local viewing spots that most don't find. The lady we rented the apartment from was awesome in telling us where to go to stay away from the crowds when we didn't want to do the tourist stuff.

This is one of my favorite pics we got, of the Ponte Vecchio, just wish it came out a little more clearly.

Another favorite pic of ours, of the Dome, from way above.

Not using FAFSA since I may get some sort of money off/scholarship that will allow me to not need any sort of aid at Mizzou or Kansas.

Just got information on a journalism convention in san Antonio. Last year my journalism program had a competition to see who could get more numbers and surprisingly I won. But I've heard there's gonna be alot more interaction between the schools so im kinda nervous for that :S

Yeah, sat their for a few hours and just had a couple bottles of wine... The pigeons were pretty nuts. A few tables down from us in the actual square a table next to us left, and within seconds about 30 pigeons were on a small 2 seater table scarfing down the leftovers.

Here is a pic we got of the square at night, facing away from the church.

Already went thru Rome, and back home now. Spent about 5 days in Rome. Had an awesome time there, but man was it just FILTHY.

Use FAFSA. You could always give the money back immediately and incur no interest cost.

All of my tuition is paid through FAFSA, either through grants or aid. If you need to know anything about it, ask me.
