“Very rarely do you see this combination of skill and toughness,” Condors coach and director of hockey operations Matt O’Dette writes of the "Baby" singer. “We share a common Canadian heritage since we both hail from Ontario. I’ve scouted some video of him online skating with my hometown team, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and I think he could provide some elusive speed up front for us. Plus, he’s a right-handed shot which we’ve been looking to add. I think if we paired him on a line with (Robby) Dee and (Peter) Boyd we’d be tough to beat.”
The press release goes on to point out that the 18-year-old singer has never appeared in a professional hockey game, but that “according to scouts, he possesses soft hands, a good skating stride, and a devastating wrist shot capable of beating NHL caliber goaltenders. He appears to be strong in shootouts as well.”
Do you know him personally? Or you just blindly hate him?
Blindly?
It's not him as a person, but he is the culmination of how far mass media has fallen and people are getting sick of it. His music is not good. At all. People only think he's good because the people around them say that he's good. And those people only say that he's good because they think the people around them like him. In other words, Justin Beiber is a bad trend. A fad. People should not be getting famous and making tons of money by being a fad. Pretty soon, Beiber will be completely forgotten. Hopefully, the record companies won't find another Beiber to take his place.
Guess its fun for some people to try and put the kid down...but he's arguably the most popular person in the world and an ambassador for Canada/Toronto.

The day Justin Bieber is the ambassador for Canada is the day I move out of Canada.

He's making money and living a lifestyle that most of us could only dream of. For that reason alone I simply can't hate on his grind. I really doubt he cares what Joe Forum thinks of his material either. Hell, I'd sing my heart out to teenage girls too if it got me that kind of paper.

So because you don't like his music you wish physical harm upon him? Grow up.
The majority of people who hate Justin Bieber are just following a trend because it's the "cool" thing to do. See: Nickelback, Creed.
The only answer to "do you like Justin Bieber?" should be "who cares?"
The kid seems like a bit of a moron-brat as evidenced by every display of his personality in public. I second the Scott Stevens comment...
This is the first forum on the whole internet I've ever been on where people have actually stuck up for Bieber. I had to check the title bar to make sure that I wasnt on teenbeat.com

Not sticking up for Bieber, in fact I said nothing about his talent. Just pointing out the immaturity of wishing harm upon a complete stranger because you don't like their music.
Played him in house league hockey a few yeras back. Was an average house leaguer that hogged the puck. Not sure how that translated to a Ribeiro comparison haha. By that I'm the next Hal Gill because I'm tall and slow
