What happens if he is not resigned by 9/15/12 expiration of the CBA?

yes he still remains Buffalos property as a RFA even if the entire season is lost and next off-season begins still RFA...

Ennis isn’t fretting because he’s unsigned.

“A lot of RFAs are in the same boat,” he said. “I’m not frustrated.”

The 22-year-old said he believes the CBA could be playing a factor.

“Maybe people are waiting to see what happens,” he said.

Could something get done before Saturday?

“We’ll see,” Ennis said. “Maybe.”

I'm hopeful that he gets signed soon, if not just for the fact that something will actually happen this offseason, but also so that it's just taken care of and there's nothing to worry about going forward.

What is to worry about? The owners hold all the cards and chances are RFA´s are going to lose a lot of bargaining power to slow down increased contracts. RFA´s after 2 years signing 30-40 million dollar contracts have to stop
