not that he couldn't pass the puck, but his game was pretty one-dimensional in the sense that he didn't have a lot of moves but mostly skated with the puck in a straigth line, and he didn't play a lot of defense on top of that, or good defense

After he received a pass he skated into the offensive zone on the wing along the boards, as close as was possible, holding the stick with the puck with one hand, used the second hand as a protection. He skated behind the goal and then lost the puck.
