They'll probably average out. At least that's what I'm hoping some of my guys end up doing.

And yes, Avder, if you're still up for possibly trading a TE, I'd be willing to listen.

Well I'd like McGahee. You still want Keller?

I'm tempted to offer you something for him, considering I have one of his receivers.

Hmmmmm.

Sorry man, but the TE I wanted I got in waivers, so I don't need to trade anymore.

Maybe after this week, but I think I'll give McGahee another week before dropping him.

I don't get how Tyra/Textual Tyrannosaurus got Ogletree on waivers when I was before him in the order?

Because he sucked so bad this weekend that when the waivers were recalculated on tuesday morning, he got priority one, and then when waiver claims were processed later on, he got him.

Lucky friggin JERK.

I thought waivers were based on reverse draft order, etc.? I didn't realize it got re-ordered after each week.. Never seen that before.

It is until play starts, then it becomes based on standings, just like in any other sports league.

We'll see. Teams can't double Dez Bryant, Miles Austin and him all at the same time. Add in a running back like DeMarco Murray and the field opens up even more. I don't like Ogletree for a lot of yards or TD's.. But I do like him for catches. And those points add up.

Yeah I suppose he could have a Laurent Robinson thing going for him this year. The third/fourth guys seem to kind excel at times in the Dallas offense don't they? (Originally Austin, guys like Sam Hurd, Robinson, etc.)

Up until Tuesday morning, I was like #5 in the priority order, then on Tuesday morning it switched and I'm #1. I don't really know how/why it happened, so...sorry.

And hey, I was wondering, everybody, what does everyone think about this turning into a league that carries over year-to-year? Things like final standings designate draft order next year, would anyone be interested in having some carryover in players on teams? As in, keeper status?

We probably should have talked about this before the season started and before we drafted, but I thought I'd throw it out there anyway.

I'd be up for carryover. If we have more people who are interested next year we could do that two-tier thing as well, maybe split into two 8 or 12 team leagues if we get enough.

And as for player carryover... how about two position players and EITHER your defense or your kicker.

I'm all for keeping this going and having the stats determine draft order. As for keeper, if we want to do that I'd rather have a re-draft for the next season knowing we're doing keeper. I know I would have made a few different decisions if we were (although my Stafford + Jennings + boom/bust rookies isn't bad).

I'd go with the reverse draft order for next year but would prefer not to do keeper. The draft is a big part of the fun. I guess I'm not sure how it works but if we can carry over 1-2 players I'm all for it (Rogers )

Like I said earlier, I think if we do player carryover, two position players and optionally either your defense, or your kicker.

Heh. I'll keep Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson and the Texans defense.

I'm with Squidz, now that I think about it. Don't start keeper stuff until next season, going into the draft with that mindset.

Basically, with keepers, it's usually for whichever player you want to keep, you give up that draft pick. So for me, if I want to keep Arian Foster, i'd give up my 1st round pick next season and every season I want to keep him. Most leagues designate some guidelines, like "no 1st rounders can be kept" or "only three keepers" or things like that.

I don't personally think it would be fair to do keepers this year, mainly because a lot of rookies/project guys would go higher and old vets would go lower.

But everyone seems okay with using this year as a basis for next year's draft, right?

So, everyone start to tank!
