I want :

Latendresse-Spezza-Michalek
Silfverberg-Turris-Alfredsson
Greening-Regin-Zibanejad
Condra-Smith-Neil

I believe Latendresse can be a 30 goals scorer playing with Spezza. He has great hands around the net. Spezza creates a lot of offense around net, Latendresse will be around to bank the rebounds and convert Spezza's feeds. Michalek has proven he can do that already. This line could produce 80-90 goals easily if healthy (which is top-tier in the league)

2nd line is all about hockey IQ and defensive awareness, with a nice touch of offense. All those guys have great shots. They can play against anyone and own the puck. Yes Silfverberg is green in the NHL but I think he could adapt quickly. He isn't dependant on the rink size like Rundblad was. Let Alfie impregne those young guys even more

3rd line is about size and speed with a nice skill touch. Regin if healthy can be a great 2-way center and the other guys can go recover the puck for him. Zib and Regin have great shots if they can use it, Greening goes to the net. Defense is adequate too, just a bit of inexperience

4th line is perfect too. Condra provides the stamina and high hockey IQ. The 2 others provide toughness and "in-your-face" hockey. Tough line to play against and can chip in offensively

If Silfverberg needs an adjustement period, switch him with Regin and make a few moves for the bottom-6 center positions

I'm excited to see that line-up in action
Not a bad line-up, although I suspect that Zibanejad may end up with less ice time on the 4th line, as you point out, due to the lack of experience on the 3rd line. Swapping Neil in would still make for an interesting bottom six.

"Let Alfie impregnate the young guys?"

Not sure if that's physically possible.

lol that's because there's words I need to find the right translation for, but this time I forgot to change it

Let Alfie immerse these young people even more? I dunno, let them learn even more playing with Alfie lol

And hmmm, Zibanejad with 4th line minutes would be pretty useless for his development... He's a pretty big piece of the Sens future apparently. It's not like before, this management isn't scared to give big roles to young players (see Turris, Greening, Cowen, Karlsson, Smith...). I hope he is on the 3rd line this year (if there's a year )

Gosh, I'm anxious to see NHL hockey now, as the weather goes down, the need is growing up

Maybe "Let Alfie instill his work ethic within these young guys"

I think he'd have chemistry with Turris and Alfie more so than other tandems. Silfverberg isn't quite a "fresh out of junior" rookie either. Inexperienced in the NHL, sure, but he captained a team of grown men to a championship and took all the hardware too at just 21. Alfie's potentially a future hall of famer at 40 and Turris is in his, what, 4th year?

At the end of the day I don't care about inexperience if it works, and that's a trio I'd like to see for sure. All guys that can hold onto the puck, see the ice, make plays, and finish.

The real question is whether they have the staying power over the entire season.

A lot of NHL rookies seem to run out of steam by about the 3/4 mark.

In any event, go with what works at the beginning of the season, but don't be surprised to see the guys with the least amount of NHL experience tail off.

Are those 18-20 year old rookies or 22 year old rookies?

I don't even know if there's a difference, just something to consider. The sample size for 22-23 year old rookies that come with hype are few and far between, I'd say.
