Phillies only 3.5 games back with 4 in Houston, St Louis plays 4 against the Dodgers. Although the next 3 series opponents for STL are HOU, HOU and CHC. They will make the playoffs with ease.

If the Phillies get in, who the hell would want to face Hamels, Halladay and Lee in a five-game series? Well, besides St. Louis LOL.
Don't count out Arizona and Milwaukee.
As much as I hate it, kudos to MLB for adding the 2nd wild card. You just knew September was going to be like this.

Went to the Mets game last night, sat in right field. No joke, I was able to have a conversation with the guy sitting in left field -- that's how empty and quiet it was.

I was at the game too. There is no possible way I can see how there could have been more than 15000 people there.

And with the Cyclones eliminated a few days ago, we're done for the year with meaningful baseball in the Mets organization. St. Lucie and Brooklyn went out with a fizzle, just like the big club.

Compared to how big Citi Field is, it looked like there were that few people there. But usually when I guess, I'm off by like 10,000.

I think it was fine the way it was. However when they added a 2nd wild card team they should've at least made it a 3-game series between 2 wild card teams. 162 games in a season and to decide it by 1 game is a joke IMO.

Also A's need to sweep or at least take 2/3 from Orioles. After A's, Orioles play garbage teams in their next 12 games before season ending series against Rays.

Nova and Andy coming back is huge because at worst it bumps Garcia and at best it allows Phelps to help the bullpen

The Yankees just did it gangnam style
I love low scoring wins. We'll need to be able to do that in the playoffs.

Mets lose 16-1 vs Philly. 4-25 last 29 home games. 16 straight home games scoring 3 runs or less
