Dalton Thrower still nursing a sore groin for the Saskatoon Blades. Hasn't skated in 3-4 weeks now, but is expected to be ready to go for the season opener on Sept. 21st in Prince Albert.

I don't want to start a language debate, but they haven't won anything since then. Some might think it's a coincidence, but hey, it hasn't worked out well

I love how several posts have happened and you bring it up... but you "don't want to start a debate" ..

SEL starts in a few days! Should be good.

Obviously not.

Hopefully we invite Sarault, or sign him. Sounds like he and Gally got great chemistry.

Send a message via MSN to Rise from the Ashes
Looks like Galchenyuk could improve his first step quickness. Great offensive mind and excellent shot. Tons of upside.

Erik Nyström had an assist in the first game of Superelit J20 season. Played on the first line.
Two top 2013 draft prospects are also on the team. Robert Hägg (D) and Gustav Possler (RW)

But I thought the reason Kristo stayed in school was because he is dedicated to his education, not to party with coeds.

To see MacWilliam being included as far as the other assistants just make me belief that this was kids being kids. 'Cause MacWilliam, Leaf prospect, is known as being real serious with a very good work ethic. So I guess things like that happens.

Yet.....I'm still very pissed off to see Kristo losing a year like that and stories will make people feel like he's just not that committed in becoming a hockey player and just wants to be with his pals. Might not be entirely true....but it's the perception so far. Let's hope he fix everything up when he joins the Dogs next year. He will need to be a big time contributor as soon as he joins in though.

One thing is sure.....do not give him away for nothing because of that. Please. This guy has a real potential. And if he doesn't have it for us, he surely has it for another team. But I would prefer if it's us. Would make no sense to give up on him. And especially not with the guys that we have in place to took care of those kids. But he surelly needs a good reminder of what it takes to make it and if he wants to make it.

This is a team disciplinary measure and the captain and the assistants are being punished because they represent the team and should have controlled the situation better. This is not something that Kristo and the other 2 did on their own. I don't see this as a problem and I really don't think the team will get rid of Kristo because of this. No need to overreact here.

Personnally, I wouldn't get rid either. But some people will add his "shoe" story, and the fact that he chose to pursue his college career, and this story to say that he's not committed enough and isn't what we should be looking for in a player. To which I say, like I always say, we have enough milk drinkers, if the guy delivers on the ice, I take him every day of the week.

On the story itself, I thought it was only the players, but reading it again and you have to be right. It's a team disciplinary measure which I hope soften the blow for some people.

That's true. My bad. I have no idea how I forgot that.

I go sit in corner and feel shame.
Guess I was wrong, they just can't do it.

You can stand up, my turn to sit in the corner.
