According to Al Trautwig's latest video they're supposed to be the exact blue as the original blue seats.

Also looks like they decided to definitely not use glass in front of Row A
My guess is the railing in front of row A is only temporary, based off of the way it is constructed. Also looking back at photos from last summer, they had the same setup in the lower bowl for where they installed the glass.

If they add glass, we all know that the value of those seats instantly goes from $47 to $70

Is it just me, or does row 2 look AMAZING??? Up high, clears the railing and has extra leg room...

I hope so, that is where I am.

does anyone know if they did anything in the 400's other than just rip out old seats and put new ones in?
Did they change the viewing angles, leg room, etc?

I thought they were but somebody on this thread several weeks ago said that they were not doing any of that.

They just replaced the seats - the angle or pitch wasn't changed.

Im Row 2 as well...I hope they took out those crappy bar railings and just put the glass above that concrete wall.

Me too. Hopefully jagged glass on top edge so people can't lean over with arms folded blocking everyone else's view.

Or what Citi Field has on the Great Wall of Flushing. The railing isn't a round bar. It's in a diagonal-line shape which is incredibly uncomfortable to lean on.

The 'Interior View' from yesterday -

I guess things are progressing if they're testing the lights?

No doubt there will be seats for every ticket and a playing surface to watch. The only question, as usual, is how much of the finishing touches will be ready. With this lockout, I'm thinking at least 95% of renovation Phase II will be in the bag

Still the same dull low color temperature lights. It creates a nice spotlight effect for basketball but it's terrible for hockey. The ice is piss yellow.

Are those ribbon boards that go around the whole arena?? If they are, then MSG has been missing them while every other arena has like 2 or 3 strips of the led boards. This will generate more money from advertising. I also think the look pretty cool;modern.

Looks like they're reinstalling the two rows of seats in the lower bowl that they removed when they were building out the suites.

Hopefully they will add them, but the renderings only show 4 LED ribbon boards, 2 at either end. After the third year, the bridges will contain LED boards on both sides as well.

The strips are not a big deal to me, I want a big... embarrassingly huge screen. Like the one at the bell centre, that thing is sexy.

Year 3 that's coming. I remember reading it's supposed to be the biggest in the league.

To be fair, the place fits 113,000 plus they have a ton of luxury boxes. Most places don't have anywhere close to 113,000 capacity (and that's not even factoring in possible standing room). It does look damn far away though. The upper deck at MetLife is far away so I'd love to see how high up that is.
