Currently watching Dynamo - Mmg Metallurg, and Magnitagorsk looks really impressive, vulnerable but still.

I believe Magnitka will be the best team in the league during the lockout. They will be so deep that Kaigorodov, member of NT, will be 4th in the depth chart + 1st line will be absolutely dominant.

What is with Zuccarello? Did not play today against Dynamo Msk. Coach said something "he can appear within weeks.. or sooner"

Btw D Antipin, born 92, played almost 18 minutes, 3rd among Ds of Magnitka. D Mironov, born 94, played cca 9 minutes.

Antipin is a solid D, I wish him the best.

Is there a reason for the low attendance in Magnitogorsk yesterday? If I remember well, last season they had almost always more than 6k. Yesterday 4k?

I guess it has something to with tickets price rise. They're trying to make a point. And yet the best tickets cost only 20 bucks, so they should get used to it, the times of almost free tickets are over. And the attendance will rise eventually, because season tickets sales have doubled this year. Like they have a choice.

As soon as Malkin comes, they will sell out.

The World Championship seems to have a positive impact on the players. Not only with AkBars. Medvedev is ripping it and you could see it from the first game. Same goes for Tereschenko, Zherdev, Shirokov, Ryasenskiy, Kokarev, Ketov. They've probably got that extra confidence now.

In looking for a more Supersonic Lockout, I intend to start following the KHL starting tomorrow. Any game recommendations? Hopefully I wake up in time.

Tomorrow as in 14.9, only two matches today, the second one between Nizhny Novgorod v. Lokomotiv is the more interesting one and thats at 11.45 your time.

If you mean 15.9, Avangard v. Neftekhimik (06.00), Magnitka v. SKA (07.00), I personally like watching Amur so them against Spartak (09.00) and Minsk v. CSKA (10.00)

Yeah, Magnitogorsk-SKA has the potential to be a real treat, but be aware that it starts Saturday at 8 am ET and that the quality of broadcasts from Magnitogorsk is... special

Malkin and Gonchar practicing with the Metallurg apparently.

Malkin on the same line with Shenfeld- AWESOME! Would propel the guys' development, big time!

Moscow Dynamo is totally dominant over these guys, but by looking at the standings, it shouldn't be a surprise.
