Season over... My Lord Nesta is an embarrasment. Do the right thing
He's been very good this season, he just had a terrible game, he doesnt need to retire because of one bad game, let's see how he does for the rest of the season.
I question Marsch decisions this game. Why did he sub out Rivas when Nesta was clearly exhausted? And why still play with 4 defensemen when we need to score a goal? And why keep ****ing Arnaud on the field? And why play Mapp on the right side? And why sub in another defenseman with 10 minutes left in the game? So many questions but no answers.

Brovsky & Valentin are good enough to be the starting Outside Backs. I'm really uncomfortable with Nesta/Rivas & Ferrari. The team looked better with 2 Centerbacks & 2 Outside Backs. Problem is, we have 4 starting CB's. Cant keep all of them happy.
Our wings are pathetic. They don't create anything. That needs to be changed as well
Couldn't watch the game but anyway, my hopes were dead after what happened in C-Bus. Anyway, let's keep it simple : they won't make the playoffs because they wasted an enormous amount of leads. Then from there we can expand but I'll keep that for another day.
It's true though it was a great season considering what they had to work with for a while. I do expect changes to the roster (hopefully Camara, Felipe stay).
Honestly if the wingers were more dedicated offensively, Felipe and Di Vaio wouldn't be forced to do all the work (and Bernier moving up the pitch so much to help). And if doesn't work, then change the formation to a simple 4-4-2 with Wenger next to Di Vaio.
My wish for next year; Everyone @ Stade Saputo learns how to do 'Aux Armes' properly. With how loud SS can get, I can just imagine. Would be incredible.
After Iapichino from Basel, and Marsch's scouting trip planned there [Mentionned in the Article] looks like the Impact have a soft spot for the Swiss Super League. Which is great, since we can definatly compete with them [For the most part] salary wise. Also looks like Felipe's deal is 3 Years, so no need to worry about him leaving soon. I reckon if he keeps playing the same way & progresses, once the 3 years are done, it should be a DP contract or Europe
Quote:
Less than a season into his three-year MLS contract, European clubs have already expressed their interest into bringing Felipe back to Europe. But the player shrugs and looks down to the crest on his heart. There, it says “Montreal,” a place where he found good people, “brothers and best friends” like Italian veterans Marco Di Vaio and Alessandro Nesta, and a club he likens to the family he’s been away from for six years.
“I really feel happy, here in Montreal,” Felipe says. “You need to play where you feel good, where you are happy. Here, I found a very good situation and nice people, from the president [Joey Saputo] to Aldo [Ricciuti, the first-team equipment manager].
“For now, I think that MLS will be among the best five leagues in the world, so I want to be a part of this history. I want to stay here. And here, I can make my own history, too.”

The part you quoted is was caught my eye the most in the article. Even without reading the article, you can sense that Felipe likes it here and wants to be here. Definately my favorite player along with Wenger.
