Title says it all.

Should we bench him until he shows a sign of being a competent NFL player again? They face DET next week.

I've never seen a back that is more reliant on his o-line than Johnson, and that goes for when he was putting up big numbers as well. With the Titans o-line not being as good now, I don't see any hope for him. It's like he's incapable of creating his own yards. Thankfully I didn't take him.

Hate this dude. I've got him in two leagues.

One league I have him, Fred Jackson, Tate and McCluster so I'm forced to started him.

My other league I'm about to bench him, I have CJ, BJGE, DWill, and Tate.

Got him in two leagues and givent he fact that the RB position is nothing to be excited about nowadays I'm in a very bad situation.

He's becoming a dead weight, I'd try to trade him but I doubt I would receive more than a six pack for him.

Chalk me up for "being forced to start him." I was really banking on him returning to somewhat dominant form. I only have 2 starting RBs, him and MJD. Drafted Royster thinking he was going to be the starter (he was the starter on the depth chart), and Wilson being the backup for Bradshaw. Now this Andre Brown guy out of the blue takes the backup position. Just a mess for me so far. And the people in my league just sit around the house all day refreshing injuries online, and picking up backups the millisecond they see any action... One guy in my league has NINE RBs. Yes, NINE. I keep saying there should be some kind of restriction on that crap. He has Sproles, Lynch, BJE, Tate, Gerhart, Brinkley, Daryl Richardson, Turbin, and McCluster.

The six-pack is probably worth it.

And of course, he blames his o-line:

You just can’t give up plays. You have to make plays like they make plays. I can’t speak for the defense. I can only speak for the offense.”

If I could feed him into an industrial wood chipper I would I'm benching him for Peyton Hillis I'm also going to drop him for a new RB. He cost me a win. I have 3 players against 1 and I lost ground.

CJnoK welcome to the waiver wire.

Bench him. My buddy drafted him in two leagues, convinced he was going to have a monster year, even though I told him to avoid him...

Nothing you can do but bench him.

I too am in this predicament. I have a trade lined up that is Chris Johnson and Titus Young for Marshawn Lynch and Anquan Boldin. The guy is considering it, but I HIGHLY doubt he takes it. I didn't wanna draft Johnson. I was picking 7th/8. But he was the least of the question marks available at RB at that point over guys like McFadden(injury history), Richardson(Unknown/had injury), Jones-Drew(holdout) and Forte(Bush in Chicago/injury last season). I, like everybody else, was banking on him somewhat returning to his form. And, obviously, he is far from it. He has been a complete disaster as the title says. He basically has me at 0-2. I am going to try to deal him this week (if possible) and If I don't, I might give him one more shot against a weaker Lions run defense for Week 3. If he fails, which I expect, I'm done. I'll try to trade him and if unsuccessful I might seriously waive him. And to think I used my first round pick on this guy. Talk about a setback.

Ah, I get it.

Anyway, I'm so glad I passed up on him and decided to get RB's later in my draft. Though early, I'd say Reggie Bush has turned out nicely.

Nothing like benching your 1st round pick in week two! That's precisely what I did when I put Reggie Bush in for Chris Johnson. It won me the week thankfully. I would have been 0-2 otherwise.

My RB situation:

CJ
Steven Jackson
Reggie Bush
Alfred Morris
Peyton Hillis

I'm likely going to bench CJ until he has a good week. Then hopefully someone gets fooled into taking him off my hands.

Did he honestly have -19 rushing yards in OT today?

Yes. CJ + Toss plays = Disaster these days.

It's pretty pathetic when a 10 yard run in the 2nd quarter of the 3rd game is highlighted by announcers as your "best run of the season thus far."

He's as good as gone from my team. I'll deal him off for anything at this point (If possible).
