Dreger on TSN tweeted about the NHLPA investigating the possibility of a Canada vs Russia series (to commorate the 40th anniversary of the 72 series) if there is a lockout. Multple games divided between Canada and Russia. The games would be in November.
I suggested this a couple months back, but if they don't have an agreement done soon, I would love to see a revival of the Canada Cup/World Cup of Hockey tournament.

Love to see that too but Logistics+Time=Not Enough.
Not interested... if the lockout lasts all year, then every country should send it's A team to the World Championship. That's enough international hockey in my opinion.

This is the only thing I have interest in... Just can't bring myself to care unless it's more than just 2 or 3 countries involved.
Mostly just because I think he has an awesome name. It's up there in my book with Dalton Thrower for great hockey names. Plus been a favorite of mine since he attended the Kings prospect and development camps a few years ago. The only other Slovenian prospect I'm aware of Jan Mursak from Detroit and I refuse to cheer for anything dealing with Detroit...
