Woke up and instantly grabbed a red bull. Yesterday I "won" a case of it and I forgot to post that yesterday :S. I think I'm starting to get as addicted to it as cullk's unnatural obsession with mountain dew.

Drinking five Red Bulls a day is a lit more ridiculous than a couple Dewskies.

About to head home from Minnesota from that showcase I was at. Watched the last couple of games a bit this morning. Making a pit stop in the Dells for the night and heading the rest of the way to Chicago tomorrow.

Was a great first experience. Met and was introduced to more people than I can even remember, be it other Junior A coaches/scouts, NCAA coaches, a few NHL scouts; so many people. Was very cool, almost surreal. Saw a couple of guys from the Hawks there a few times over the weekend. Lot of great hockey and got to meet our coaching staff and owner and already got started with the evaluation process on some kids. Will be traveling some more down the road but will be busy at home watching our four AAA teams there. Saw three of the four a bit this weekend and have some guys we're keeping an eye on. All in all a great weekend and great start. Excited about the opportunity going forward.

Hoping to head to Cedar Point next year to check out all of the coasters there. Very excited about the possibility of getting to ride Millenium Force and TTD.

Having to be stuck in the **** state of Ohio for 4-5 is not worth a trip to Cedar Point.

I'm not going to SoCal for Magic Mountain, so I'll have to settle for CP.

Haven't had many bad experiences in Ohio, except in the truck stops. They are filthy.

Went a day late. Had you been for a tailgate, your college search would have concluded immediately.

My parents already think I am basing my decision on sports.

I thought they had it figured out. Now we have to watch that 500LB lady babble some more.

Not sports, tailgating. No one actually goes into our football games

Basketball is another story, though.

Anyone ever trade games in at Game Stop? I have a bunch that I never play and am thinking about trading them in. Do they take any game?

If it is about a year old or less, you get like $15. Beyond that, next to nothing. I mean, if they are older games, and you truly don't need them, you could bundle say 5 or 6 and get 15 bucks back for the lot and buy a 12 pack.

Any sports game that isn't current they don't take. Who would buy it?

Yeah, like I said, 15-25 bucks, they don't give much, try eBay.

-Accepted into Kansas
-Applying to Indiana
-Applying to Illinois
