a great deal IMO. a crucial spot and gives Campbell ample time to see if he can rob the net from Kari.

Yeah I thought about that and it'd be a great idea, but the Stars aren't exactly loaded with D Prospects.

Goligoski, Daley, and Larsen are all NHL caliber.

Then we've got Oleksiak, Nemeth, Dillon, Bystrom, Klingberg, etc. No blue chippers, but we'll have a solid, balanced lineup with some good depth.

Quick is being paid a lot more throughout Lehtonen's deal, though. He has those extra years added to bring the cap hit down.

Kari had work ethic problems in the past. I'd still keep the possibility of him mailing it in with his payday in the back of my head if I were a Stars fan.

That being said, if Kari continues playing at the level he was last year, this is a very solid deal.
