Cats won a 3rd straight tonight VS Sherbrooke 4-0.

I was excited to see Phoenix forward Daniel Audette play. He's very skilled and he played well in the 1st period but became invisible after that. He'll be a good player in this league for sure. As for the other Phoenix players there wasn't much to talk about.

On Cats side goaltender William Kane had a great game registering a shutout and making some big saves. He made a great impression on everyone tonight.

The best player on the ice tonight was Peter Sakaris even if he did not registered any points. He made good shots, great passes and some nices dekes too. He was dominant with the puck.

#9 Olivier Jodoin and #97 Alex Pawelczyk were using their respective 6'3 and 6'5 very well creating things around Sherbrooke's net. Jodoin finished the night with 1A.

In the tall guys category, new addition defenseman Jean-Phylippe Provencher who's 6'7 played well on defense and was moving really well on the ice for someone of that height. Not always perfect with the puck but he's a nice project for the Cats.

I gotta give good notes to forwards Antoine Masson (1G and 1A), Philippe Venne (2G and 1A) and Benjamin Lagard (1G and 1A). Good game by Evan Scott (2A) too.

Yes we traded forward Ryan Labrie for him couple days ago. From what I heard his teammates did not like him very much and he did nothing in the training camp...

He did not play any game so far in the preseason but he's got his place on the team for sure. We'll have 3 goaltender (Gaudet, Cupper and King) until at least Christmas.

Kind of strange he has been guarenteed a spot without playing?? He was a backup lastyear in Junior A.

Cats organization said that they saw what he could do last year in the Memorial Cup pre-tournament (Cats training camp before the Cup) so they wanted to see the other goaltenders in the firsts preseason games. We should now see him in net maybe Friday or Saturday VS Quebec.

Patrik posted this pic on his Facebook yesterday... His back is still injured (minor injury) but he should pay us a visit here in Shawinigan as soon as he's OK.

Is there a radio feed in English for the Cats? It's usually easier for me to get a radio feed via the internet here in Illinois than it is to get a video feed.

Depends on which team they play. You'll get english radio feed via the opposing team like the Sea Dogs, Moncton, or any other Maritimes team when they play in Shawinigan or away when they are facing these teams. Look on the official website of those teams they often give the links to listen to the games.

Sorry for not getting back to you so soon. I thought there might be both French and English radio feeds for the team. If not, I'll have to take a crash course in French beyond "Et le but!"

He looks like a really skilled player who can't finish his plays. He should use his physic a lot more but doesn't wich makes him look bad... No wonder why the OHL didn't want him.

Yes he has decided to stay all year long here in Shawinigan. He started to practice this week and could be in this weekend.

Any reason why Donnelly hasn't been playing the last couple weeks or so?

Thanks, but how long is the suspension for? He's already missed ten games or so.

He's injured, I just forget what it is.
Might be a foot injury?
The Cataractes definitely aren't a team to follow this year unless you're a local fan, so sorry I'm not 100% sure.
