Had a hold on my student account for a parking ticket, but was unable to pay it off all summer. Just did recently. Looked at my grades for the first time.

A - Law and Legal Systems
B+ - Arabic
B - English Lit
B - Macroeconomics

I'd rather have more As, but I'll take it. The Arabic grade I felt could have been a bit higher, but it is what it is. In macroeconomics I bombed the first exam. Once I knew his exam method I aced the next two. The one I really have a problem with is the English Lit grade. That professor graded based on gender, not on what was actually turned in. I got a C on one essay (the only essay I've ever gotten below a B on). He said it was well-structures and virtually free of grammatical errors, but it wasn't worth more than a C. He gave one girl a B despite "several grammatical errors, and a relatively weak structure". Really? He gave the girl who sits beside me one point high on an exam than I got even though she only did 3/4ths of the exam. Really?

Oh well, still rockin' a great GPA.

Just ordered new skates for the first time in 7 years... Took advantage of an online coupon this weekend. Been looking at these skates for a while now. Saw they dropped $10 and were eligible for a discount this weekend as well. Couldn't pass it up.

I hate buying skates online without fitting them. I've actually been looking for about a month and tried on used skates in this line at Play It Again Sports to make sure they fit. Now the waiting begins...
