Obviously the OP is very very bad for Washington and completely unrealistic. But I agree also that Morrow could be a useful acquisition for a team looking to win now. If his back is healthy there's no doubt that he could rekindle his other-worldy chemistry with Ribeiro. I've often thought that any team acquiring one of Morrow or Ribeiro would do well to get both at once. They have a shorthand on the ice that only comes from playing years and years together (or being twins). Most Stars fans would accept a vastly reduced package for Morrow, similar to the price for Ribeiro.

Seriously, We finally have a second line Center and you want him on the first line and putting a reclamation project ahead of Brouwer.

Ovechkin-Backstrom-Morrow
Johansson-Ribiero-Brouwer
Chimera-Laich-Wolski
Hendricks-Beagle-Ward
I may even have Ward ahead of Wolski until he proves he can still play.

I'm pretty sure wolski was promised a spot in the top-six

Love when people make these posts and then never show back up within the same thread to watch it burn. Kinda makes me wonder if it's simply to get a rise out of people.

I am pretty new to this but from what i have seen the Caps get boned hard . I hope they get a kiss with that royal **********

Wow, I am not a fan of either team and I am actually a fan of Morrow's, but at this point I am not going to call Morrow a 1st line player and holy cow is that an overpayment for a guy who is a 2nd liner, possibly a 3rd liner who has 1 year on his contract and then will be an UFA. I can see a 1st maybe, but anything more than that is too much in my opinion.
