Fedotenko and Ponikarovsky to Donbass (Donesk)

VP Shakurov told the news to the press. Not known when they will join the team.

Great for Donbass.

Now they will actually have some Ukrainians playing.

Doesn't Kvitchenko play as well?

Anyways, this is a great signing for Donbass, but even more so for Ukrainian hockey. Now we just have to hope they play well and bring the intangables that make them NHL players so that the fans can see what Ukrainian hockey was once capable of producing.

Only one question remains: how long until Antropov signs with Barys?

They do have them ON THE ROSTER but now they will have few of ukrainians ACTUALLY PLAYING. And that was a point of Roberts' post.

Even with Poni and Fedotenko playing there are still only 4 Ukrainians actually playing in games. Seems pretty ridiculous to have so many players sitting on the bench when the PHL would love to have some higher-end talent at their disposal.

Don't be surprised if Varlamov or Kvitchenko get benched to make room for Rusty & Poni

Though, Varlamov is the captain so I'd hope he remains safe...
