Just sold my Seto and Hards, both for 4,000 when I bought both for 2,000 each.

Also, joined our EASHL team and our GM Connected league. Gonna be the Rangers if whoever is in charge accepts it. Not really sure how the GM Connected works or even what it really is but I'm assuming it's similar to Be A GM mode.

Wow, the AI on my team are always so stupid. I was coming down on a 2 on 1 and my other forward decided to slash the d-man for no reason just as I was about to shoot the puck from 5 feet out.

Will stores not carry NHL 13 because of the lockout? Last week my buddy was able to pick it up at the local target and when I went there a couple days after they were sold out and there was no longer a place for the game. When I checked target's website they say the game is only sold online. I don't recall any repercussions during the last lockout, but I could be mistaken.

There's no reason that NHL 13 will stop being sold in stores.

Ok, that is what I was hoping.

I've been rocking NHL 10 for a while and I'm itching to get my tail kicked in NHL 13!

Also the speed boost is one of my favorite additions. Finally you can get by defenders instead of them becoming the fastest players alive and catching up to you. I never used to get breakaways and I've already had a couple because of this.

Honestly, I find this game way to easy, especially GM mode.

In NHL 12 if I were playing on Superstar I would rarely win. On this game in Superstar, I'm 5-0 and usually score 1-2 SH goals every game. It's not fun.

I love hitting in this game...

My team in be a GM:

Parise-Koivu-Clutterbuck
Heatley-Cullen-Setogouchi
Frolov-Brodziak-Ortemeyer
Veilleux-Mitchell-Palmer

Suter-Gilbert
Gill-Spurgeon
Scandella-Foster

Backstrom
Harding

MiG is down in Houston.

I'm 24-14-2, 4th in the west.

Parise leads the league with 26 goals... He's tied with Ovie for points at 45.

I'm going to trade for Tavares next year... And Gabby.

I played about half of the games.

Haha, that's weird. I found NHL 12 super easy, but 13 is giving me a lot more trouble.

Same...I'm almost glad they took away the cross crease...it makes the game harder which in turn makes it more enjoyable when you win.

I'm in this boat.

I guess I got too used to the passive AI defense, so now I've got no room to make plays.

I feel like I should pass more, but I also feel like I can't. Which leads me to take rushed shots and hope that the AI doesn't magnet-puck-to-stick for an easy clear.

I feel like the odd man out, not having NHL 13. Oh well.

I won the Superbowl in Madden last night. And all my prolific free agent signings have finally caught up with me. I need to re-sign my prolific middle linebacker and I literally can't, I don't have any cap room. I'm debating trying to trade Clay Matthews and his 15 million dollar cap hit, even though he is a beast, in an attempt to help my team overall. I have a decent ROLB(Matthews' position) sitting at ~78 overall, IIRC, so the drop would be quite a bit, but it would more than likely allow me to pick up a good LOLB in free agency, where I need some help, along with re-signing my ~88 overall MLB.

I signed Chris Johnson as a free agent on a one year deal when the season started. I absolutely did not need him. I'm developing a 2nd year RB that is at 81 overall and I do running plays maybe 5-10 times a game, if that, but I wanted to see how a 91 overall RB could help out my team. Turns out, not at all. So I traded CJ to Denver for a 1st round pick. That, combined with somehow flipping a 2017 3rd into a 2018 1st during the 2017 draft, to a bottom-10 team, gives me three 1st rounders for this next season. Nice.

One thing I'm not sure if I like or dislike about Madden, but when you draft players, you get maybe +5 to +8 overall from what the players are drafted at. Guys who come out of the draft at 72 will more than likely, from what I've seen, max out around 80 or so. But, at the same time, there is so much turnover that it really doesn't matter. I'm getting better at scouting, getting better at drafting, and I'm no longer having Minnesota Wild trademark First Round Busts(I'm looking at you #3 overall WR that maxed out at 71 overall, and you #13 overall MLB that maxed out at 73).

But, at the same time, you get guys who come out of the draft at pretty good overall ranks. I went and looked, and most of the top-5 of the last few drafts come out around 78-83 or so, in some cases higher. Granted, 7th round picks are usually in the 50-60 range, but I have found a gem or two.

Wow, this game is so bad with accuracy. I literally just missed 3 out of every 4 shots I took in the game I just played. Lost 4-0 in the championship game of a single player tournament. IT WAS ONLY 3/5 STAR DIFFICULTY!!!!! Can't even win a damn tournament on that low difficulty or score goals.

You can't just zoom around and shoot or you will miss the net. Unless you're playing with Kovalchuk, you need to slow down or your player can't aim.

I have almost never missed the net in 13. It seems better. Granted I play hockey so I'm used to squaring up to the net or at least getting a good angle. So kudos for that.

Anyone able to get the HUT app to work? Every time I try to log in it just says Network Response timed out.

Also, a few small steals on the auction house.

Enstrom for 1750 BIN
sold it for 3500 BIN

Stafford for 2750 BIN
sold it for 4000 BIN

B. Schenn for 2500 BIN
sold it for 4500 BIN

For anyone just getting started on HUT I'd actually recommend playing on Superstar difficulty (the hardest one). The puck bonuses are much better than pro or rookie difficulty and I'm actually playing better now than I was on the lower difficulties. If you play on Superstar, your own goalie actually is really good and doesn't let in any crap goals. Harding has bailed my ass out quite a few times already with spectacular saves.
