Congratulations Coyote fans. I'm an Islander fan and I know what you've been going through (I follow this board for updates). Besides signing Doan it looks like things are looking up on the ownership issue and staying in Phoenix. I've been to Jobing.com arena quite a few times and I know what truly great fans the Yotes have!!!
Well, there's that one whiny center you seem to dislike, if you catch my drift...
Had him all ms painted up to look like waldo from wheres waldo. Hopefully the lingering effects will destroy him.
Also occurs to me that I once had an avatar called teenage Mueller ninja Turris where the two kids were super imposed on the ninja turtles. Both washed out as Coyotes. Also had a great Dan Carcillo avatar and a good josh gratton one. Where are they now? Also once had Mitch Fritz. He eventually got a Coyotes contract, but never stuck.
Anyone shee the new Dushtin Brown commershl? Itsh hilarioush.
I know I shouldn't make fun of someone's speech impediment because I'm an adult and it is in extremely poor taste. But I hate him so much and the fact that he speaks EXACTLY like Sylvester the poody tat makes me laugh every time. I can't help it. I don't laugh at the general manager of the Sens who has the same problem and I didn't laugh at dustin brown prior to this last season. Now, I find it hilarious.
Shane Doan doesn’t regret staying with the Phoenix Coyotes, even though last year’s questions remain unanswered
Last summer, Doan became a coveted free agent while waiting to determine his future and if it involved the Coyotes. His off-season was rife with doubt, hesitation and family-related adversity, but, ultimately, Doan wanted to stay.
That’s a choice he doesn’t regret despite still not knowing the franchise’s permanent location.
“I’m very happy,” he said. “It’s one of those things I knew what I was getting in to, and in the end it was the right decision for me and my family. Obviously I’d love for the uncertainty to be done, but I’m hoping that we can get everything taken care of and this could be a great spot. I still believe that.”
Tippett will be without a contract July 1, and Smith becomes an unrestricted free agent July 5.
“I don’t envy their decision,” Doan said. “My hope is that both of them will sign back here, and nothing would make me happier.”
Doan crossed paths with Smith in Vancouver 10 days ago and even though both were surrounded by their families, Doan couldn’t help making a soft pitch.
