onto the next

I can hardly imagine that any team that turns the ball over four times in a game wins more than one out of ten. Except if you're the Eagles.

We win that game easy without those turnovers. No Chris Harris killed us, Tracy Porter having to play nickel made Roddy White unstoppable.

Two games and zero pressure on the quarterback. A bit scary considering that's what a team needs to neutralize the pass happy NFL. Dumervil needs to step it up in a big way.

Well, it's not like they were gonna go undefeated.

On to Houston.

Well its tough to win when you turn the ball over 4 times, and its really tough to win when you have to beat not only the other team but the refs as well.

The refs were an absolute joke, they lost all control and made this game a travesty. The worst of all was the fumble recovery they awarded to the Falcons even though the Broncos came out of the pile with the ball, and if you watch the replay the two players at the bottom of the pile were both Broncos there wasn't a Falcon even close to the ball. But somehow the refs awarded the ball to the Falcons. Someone please explain that one to me.

The refs from tonight should never be allowed to call another game, it was a joke and disgrace and it all unfolded on national TV.

I'd rather watch my favorite football team go 1-15 than watch a single soccer game

seems interesting that of the 6 teams that are 2-0, probably only 3 will make the playoffs. The 49ers, Falcons, and Texans should be locks, the Eagles and Chargers will depend a lot on what happens in their division, and the Cardinals are living on borrowed time. on the other side, I don't think any 0-2 team makes the playoffs unless the Saints pull a rabbit out of their hats.

Welp. MNF was a disaster. Unbelievable.

The NFL needs to pays stop with the temporary refs and just pay the officials.

Interesting conversation on the Herd ESPN show this morning about how the NFL has billions of losses in the near future upcoming with the concussion and head injury suits. That may be affecting this labor agreement with the referees.

Steve Young made some bold comments last night as well that the NFL's demand is completely in tact throughout this. People can whine and complain all they want, but if the NFL saves money from this and you're still watching the games, then the NFL really doesn't care. They're not losing fans. The TV product sucks a little more but people are not turning off their TV sets. We'll all flip the game right back on next week. If you're paying refs less and still making the money, then you don't bring back the old refs. And it's pretty inevitable that the replacement refs will get considerably better over time too as this whole thing plays out.

And Steve Young is right. They will continue to put guys in as much risk as need be to make money.

Yes British Skinhead Hooligans, South American Drug Lords and Child Soldiers have the NFL fan base outstripped in class.
