Kovy, and Afinogenov have played with each other in the Atlanta days so can't be too bad.

I can't get into teams I have no emotional attachment to either, but I'll watch the games the same way I watch other NHL teams. I'll pull for SKA St Petersburg for now cause Kovy is there.
i cant either. i put more then enough into the devils and its just not in me to spread around false enthusiasms for some other half rate club. (no offense to fans of the K...ill follow players here and there but to put any vested interest into.....no thanks)

I'd watch it just cause I'm starved for some hockey, but I'd be lying if I said it beats a Devils game!

This is the English version of the KHL's official site:

http://en.khl.ru/

Here you can find information about teams and players.

Marek Zidlicky will join Jaromir Jagr, Jiri Tlusty and Tomas Plekanec in HC Rytiri Kladno according to someone in the Lockout signings thread.

Now reporting, 4 minutes after the deal was signed, Zidlicky is in the fetal position in the locker room because he doesnt like his coach

Legal streams, free and good quality are available also on laola1.tv
Go to Channels and pick your poison ... Watchout for German language

http://www.laola1.tv/en/at/eishockey/video/6--.html

Edit - highlights of my hometeam playing hockey in old Roman Arena are also there, under EBEL league. Worth checking out for other reasons, not game itself

Ya, this is my major concern about this. I just don't want him getting injured. Otherwise, it might be a good thing that he's keeping his level of play up by playing in the second best league.

Ilya Kovalchuk will be the "C" of SKA. #NJDevils

Try-outs for his C when the NHL starts back up?

as he should. after seeing what he did last year, anyone want to call him a lazy passionless Russian who is the 'worst move in team history' now? nope- he's a leader and he deserves the C, both hither and thither

Good for him getting the C, but isn't that a little weird for them to give the C to a guy who probably won't be staying there the whole season?

I would think that all of the KHL is hoping for the NHL to nosedive.

Should we start up a thread to track the guys that play overseas, kind of like we do with the prospects?

Anyways, Zharkov scored the first goal in this game, he's number 11. On this goal he was playing on a line with the two Radulovs.
