The high level overview, looking just at a league of GMs like ours:
Each team either has a human or CPU GM. The commissioner decides upon a duration for each period (in our case 2 weeks). Every game that you have for that period is available to play (in our case, the first two weeks of the season). If your opponent is a CPU, you can either play against the AI, simulate against it, or I think there's one other option I'm forgetting. If your opponent for a game is a human, you can organize a time to play them and do a live game, or one or both teams can assign a "Build your AI" to play the game for them.
When the commissioner decides it's appropriate, he will roll over the period to the next 2 weeks. Any outstanding games will be simulated and the available games for the next 2 weeks are opened up.
What mode(s) do you guys play on NHL 13 thus far? I got NHL10 right now for Xbox and I am planning on picking up NHL 13 pretty quick. I have not played much NHL online but after playing CODs online I feel like it would be addicting.
Anyone pick up Borderlands 2 yet? My roommate and his buddy have been playing co-op all day.
i was just going to ask this! I thought i bought Borderlands GOY off steam for really cheap earlier but i guess not...how's the single player campaign? I wouldn't want to go multi because i really suck at FPS games on console. embarrassing.
There was some speculation that since Brodin had signed with the Wild and came to the US that he was no longer covered by EA's deal with the SEL, and couldn't appear until he was covered by either the deal with the NHLPA or PHPA. However, there are numerous players in the game with the same situation.
I also have a comment about Coyle's apparently low rating (58). When I went in to edit him, it had him listed as a two-way forward rather than power forward. Doesn't look like they put much effort into researching him, and probably many others.
If you start a BeaGM game and want to keep Johan Gustafsson or any other player drafted in 2010 or earlier and playing in Europe, you'll have to move them to an AHL team, or they'll automatically become free agents.
I must say, that Flyers goal was when they were on the PK. Proud of you EA.
As for the Brodziak one. Its been an on-going thing with NHL games, but come on. That is pathetic. Goalie has 2-3 open guys to pass to. Passes right through me (I was even controlling him at that time) and to someone in the neutral zone. Stupid.
