So how does this work for the players that are playing on the Phantoms but are under contract to the Flyers? Are they not covered by the NHLPA and thus the lockout?
I mean Richards and Carter played on the Phantoms last time right? I assume you're right with all the Phantoms players but since many are under contract with the Flyers and just are assigned to the Phantoms, seems like a real gray area.
Richards and Carter played most of the year in junior, they both joined the team late in the regular season and signed PTOs.
TBH outside of Schenn and Couturier I am really not impressed with the Phantoms. Hopefully I am wrong.

The phantoms D is pretty good, and they have a few good complimentary players like Wellwood. Not a lot of top offense, but they are coached by Terry Murray anyway

and like always question marks in goal.
I do agree that they should be a very well coached team.
Going to be be cool seeing what 10 and 14 can do in full top line offensive roles. Also sounds like Bryz is going to Russia, glad too as he needs to play imo.
Any word on L.Schenn's plans? I was hoping playing with his brother would help him mentally so he could concentrate on getting back to form but idk if he'll want to play in the AHL or honestly if they have any room for him on that crowded roster. Playing under Murray would be good for him too imo.

Jagr with Plekanec yesterday played first match for his team in Czech Extraliga, it resulted in a loss. (btw. Roman Cervenka was really good, I think he will work out really well for Calgary)
Anyway, in todays article they asked him (among other stuff) if he intends to ask Claude Giroux to play with him.
Jagr: When we are in crisis, I guess I will call him (laughing). He asked me and wanted to come, but I said that we don't have the money to pay for him. I told him to go to KHL, but he didn't want to.
Voracek should play his first KHL match tonight at 7:00 p.m. CET. LEV matches haven't been that much streamed so far, but if there's a stream I'll copy the link here.
Any word on if Giroux is considering signing anywhere?
Slava Malamud @SlavaMalamud
Malkin's RUS agent tells Sport-Express Alzner, Kane, Toews, Tavares and Giroux all trying to land KHL deals, will be represented by him.
But you need to register first... Haven't found any other way so far. Voracek plays currently in the second line with Christensen and Jiri Novotny.
http://www.limev.com/LiveHockey There's one. Horrible quality and in Russian of course but better than nothing. Voracek #93, don't know which team is which though...
