Has anyone seen any players attributes increasing significantly after one season?

I had a guy that only scored 3 goals in 60 or so AHL games go from a 75 in wrist shot accuracy to a 90.

Wristers go in way too easy. Actually a little peeved at the moment.

Regier just acquired Alfredsson and Gonchar on my BAP-save in exchange for Pysyk and Mackenzie

In my new BAGM (playing as Buffalo), COL offered me Milan Hejduk for Riley Boychuk & a 3rd . . . the day of my first preseason game.

Great game! Its nice that in EASL, the defensemen can't stand behind the net all day and kill a penalty. Acceleration and Agility are the key this year.

After a few games, I got the hang of the new skating dynamics and its pretty awesome. The key to the big hit this year is to anticipate where someone who is retriving the puck is going to turn to. I love when a guy goes into the corner and tries to go behind the net. Even with 70 checking, you can blast him.

Shieding the puck away from the defender is a must learn. You can't just push the puck in front of you while going down the ice. I was a Legend 3 2 way forward, but now I just got rookie 3 and it still feels like I am skating in mud.

I got the game the first day, preorder, and logged on at 8pm. My first game on EASL, I played a guy with 75 games. Some people do not have lives......

using speed burst you can just fly passed defenders down the wing. The poke check is very effective as well. I noticed 1 timers went from being an automatic goal to never working. Most of the time it just deflects off their stick and goes into the corner.

Ive been offered that every day lol

But im 9 games in and my team was 4-5 and very inconsistent, so I decided it was time to start blowing it up:

To San Jose:

Miller, Gerbe

To Buffalo:

Couture, Niemi, 1st, 3rd

Wow, even for a video game trade, that's just silly.

I usually don't either, but I'm really just doing one yr to get used to the game. I'll do a more realistic one later on

Just played the demo on my friend's xbox. I could probably get used to the skating, but the passing sucks. My players shouldn't misfire on every single short outlet pass. Also, the comp had literally one good chance against me and buried it. point man passed it into the center in front of the crease. my AI dman stood there and did nothing, and the CPU fired it past quick. meanwhile, i pepper brodeur with 5 or 6 good chances in the span of a minute and get stopped every time.

I think I've had worse (or better, depending how you look at it)

Playing as the sabres: Brad Boyes for Mikael Granlund+a 3rd
-Marek Zagrapan for Nick Leddy

Playing as the Kings: Mike Richards for Eberle, RNH, and a 2nd

After playing the game for almost a week now, I'm really starting to hate it.
There's so many small things wrong that just ruin the potential I thought it had.

You get stuck in all of the new skating animations, passing is messed up, one timers are non-existent even when the lane is completely clear, hits are either useless or huge and every hit against the player you control seems to be huge, the new AI is improved but still stupid (defenders seem to only defend section of the ice and every game now there will be at least one instance of everyone on the ice just sitting there when there's a loose puck), and most modes were either broken (HUT) or left unfixed (BAP).

I can see why so many people despise this series.
I just got my PS3 in December last year so I have never played one of them from the release date, but this **** is horrible.

It's even worse than 2K.
At least in 2K games the best players in the game didn't have the puck skills of a five year old..

AI is still just awful for EASHL, one-timers/slapshots are also very bad and passing could be better but overall I think its a lot better than 12

yeah, and another thing with EA, nearly every single player felt the same (at least it did in 12, idk if they fixed that). i shouldn't be able to have anywhere near the same success when i try to dangle with cody mccormick as i do when using, say, ennis or vanek, but that's how it was.
probably not gonna waste $60 on 13 and will wait for some other games to come out.

gameplay is better then 12 but not live GM and other functions are still poor. Prospects are poor and some don't even belong to the right teams. Rink intros and goal horns aren't even fully accurate.

I wonder why they haven't been able to offer the correct goalie equipment (the goalie masks looks awful without the correct paint-job).

Licensing issues come up there. A lot of goalies have trademarked or copyrighted images on their masks -- fine for them, it's ok to use that stuff in art...But EA wouldn't be able to replicate it without a huge amount of hassle and probably a hefty chunk of fees.

It's actually the artists who hold the copyright, not the goalies, but the point remains the same.
