Yeah, he's already with Saint John. He already recorded an assist in a pre-season game and I believe their last two pre-season games were cancelled because the other team's roster was decimated by the flu. Saint John's season starts this Thursday.
Used to love when the Orlando Solar Bears were on Sunshine years ago
I read somewhere that their games will be able to be streamed online. I plan on going to quite a few of their games this season since I live just 20 minutes north of Downtown Orlando.
i've tried ahllive.com and internet explorer keeps blocking my access. brings up a window asking me to allow it. i try to press aloow, but my computer keeps freezing up and i have to re-start. this happenned 4 times. any other ahl source, or any help with alleviating my problem is greatly appreciated.
How so? Is it expensive or does the quality suck, or both? I noticed they want like 5 bucks to watch 1 old game, which seems...
Both. Whole season is double what Center Ice was. Individual games are like 7 bucks. Most games are internal feeds, so no replays. And the quality is terrible. Bad picture when it works. Constant buffering and it routinely just freezes.
I would despise the service if it was free. Charging what they do should be a criminal offense.

Center Ice is around $180 the last I checked, are you telling me AhlLive is $360? If that's the case thats not just absurd, it should be a capital offense.
They've showed 9-10 games over the last 2 seasons on FSN. I'm at all home games, so i cant stream.
Well I guess I'll spend at least 7 bucks to watch the team open the season and figure it out from there. Thanks for your feedback and Go Rampage.
Side note: If the lockout only lasts a couple months, the Rampage will be in great shape as the Oil kings, Checkers, etc will be losing their best players back to the NHL and will have to reorganize. Let's hope that happens.
anyone in the Orlando area want to go watch the Orlando Solar Bears? They open the season against the Florida Everblades on Oct. 20th. Tickets are already on sale

Tickets under $20 in the lower level.
I'm definitely interested if I'm still living here.
My wife is looking for jobs in the Orlando and South Florida areas, so if she gets something down there, I could be moving back at any time. I'll have a better answer to give within the next few weeks.
Just an update on my end. I am indeed moving back to South Florida. However, it won't be until the following weekend after the Solar Bears Home Opener, so I will certainly be interested in going.
Have any of you guys gotten tickets for the game yet?
