Superstar? No thanks. The computer scores all its goals like it's bumper pool.

Bubba, I might. I like random rosters a little better than current though, so far.

I can't stand how sluggish your players are in the defensive zone. Also it seems like they completely neutered the cycle in this game. I used to cycle behind the net and in the corner all the time in NHL 12 but my guys don't move without the puck.

not really. teams that play like that in the real NHL get beat the **** up in the playoffs.

I might have to pick the game up after skipping last years.

I'd love to hear more of your reviews.

I really like NHL13. Gameplay is better and more realistic, just need to play at a higher level and while playing offline, just play with the sliders.

Connected GM is great, I really like it. Funny if you think about how Madden Team messed up with their game while NHL made it almost perfect for a 1st year inovation.

Since i dont have xbox live at the moment i have been playing gm mode quite abit. What are your rosters looking like?

Sharp-Toews-Hossa
Selane-Connolly-alfredson
carbomb-bolland-Stalberg
beach-madden-sullivan/Frolik/Jhayes

Keith-Seabs
Hammer-Lydman
Leddy-Lepisto
Smaby/odonell (cuz i cant trade his old ass or get him claimed off waivers)

current injuries: Kane 12 weeks, Jhayes 10 weeks/ ALL post concussioin syndrome
I will have to send down some players once kane and jayes are healthy. My idea was sullivan and selanne(most likely be claimed off waivers) im currently 8 mil under cap

I have managed to gain 4 1st rnd picks, 3 3rd rnd picks, 2 2nd round picks, 3 4th round picks.

I have traded krueger, oduya, bickell, stanton, flick, AND swapped a bunch of my later picks for earlier round picks.

I also seem to have a hard time trading via trade blocks when i initiate a trade. However the computer proposes some pretty sweet trades in my favor that i accept. i know alot of my players are older in the 35-40 range (will probably retire after the season) but i am just going to resign new free agents and i haave a total of nearly 15 picks for next years draft.

Why do I get the feeling that this is where many get their "prospect evaluations" from?.........

Just finished my first season with Chicago by losing 4-1 in the Finals to Carolina. Made 2 trades through the season:

Frolik + 1st 2014 for Jarome Iginla
some scrub prospect for John Madden

Stalberg - Toews - Kane
Iginla - Sharp - Hossa
Beach - Bolland - Bickell
Carcillo - Madden - Mayers

Seabrook - Keith
Hjalmarsson - Leddy
Oduya - Montador

Crawford
Emery

Blew through Calgary and St. Louis in the first two rounds, was breezing past Vancouver in the WCF until Crawford went down with an injury. Somehow I managed to squeak out a Game 7 victory against the Canucks with Emery in net only to drop the first three to the Hurricanes. Blew them out 7-0 in Game 4 at home and lost the next game.

Pretty good first season overall, won the Jennings and Kane managed to put up 45 goals and 51 assists for 96 points.

It's about 50/50. And I only played the home games in the playoffs.

That being said, I've been playing it for 3-4 hours a day after work since it's come out. I'll probably give it a rest for a few days and then get into free agency.

Had a pretty decent draft, selected a stud d-man 29th overall. I forget his name, but he's already rated a 71 overall (the game considers him a top 6 dman) and he's my #1 in the A right now. Kruger took a huge step in development over the summer so now he's slotting into the third line. Seabrook also managed to win the Norris.

Signed Dustin Penner as third line LW, Scott Hannan as #6 D and Troy Brouwer as a bottom 6 RW. Minnesota offered Granlund for Beach, a scrub and a 2nd and I took it and ran.

2013-2014 Roster:
Stalberg - Toews - Kane
Sharp - Bolland - Hossa
Penner - Kruger - Brouwer
Carcillo - Madden - Hayes

Seabrook - Keith
Hjalmarsson - Leddy
Hannan - Oduya
Montador

Crawford
Simpson
