So were Higgins, Kostitsyns, or Coastitsyns, Chipchura, Komisarek, and it goes on and on..Lists mean nothing, Ten plus years under Trevor Timmons, and we still have to sign third and fourth liners like Prust and Armstrong, and finishing Last in the conference is a testimony to the job TT has done. IMO.

I wouldn't bother engaging him, this is the type of poster you are dealing with (it's quite obvious he is just a troll):

Obvious troll is obvious. LOL @ Higgins being drafted by Timmins (he wasn't) or being considered a mistake pick.

I hope TSN, RDS, and even CBC will show some Bulldog games and Junior games!! (Galchenyuk!).
None of those networks have the national rights to the CHL, so it won't happen. Sportsnet/TVA Sports have those rights.

Most AHL games are not on TV, so bars having a dish wouldn't change anything. They would have to subscribe to the AHL internet package which shows all the games and then show those on their TV screens.

I read somewhere Sportsnet was considering showing some AHL hockey during the lockout, they better.

I know this is probably a joke but would there be any reasons whatsoever for the Habs in doing that?

Since when do they need reasons to do anything?

Joking aside I think Gomez should think about either playing off seas or the AHL/ECHL if it's possible right now. Just a question of building confidence & re-gaining some creativity.

Were you still inside your cocoon when Komisarek was drafted in 2001 and Higgins was drafted in 2002--before Timmins was put in charge of the draft? Or perhaps you were already in the larval stage? Your posts require serious fact-checking.

Why would Bergevin pay 7M to Gomez for playing in the AHL when he can pay him nothing for as long as the lockout is going?

Hey since Subban is still on his elc, can't we send him down to Hamilton? I would LOVE to see him play with Tinordi right away, it would do wonders for his development imo.

His ELC is actually over since he has no contract, and anyway he is waivers eligible. But since he is free, he could probably just sign an AHL deal if that's what he wants to stay in game shape.

BTW, **** the lockout (**** Bettman, the greedy owners, the greedy players...all of 'em).

Back to main topic:
Can't wait to see our D...
Beaulieu - Ellis
Tinordi
- Nash

P.S.: where's Dietz? (AHL next year?). And...Weber should imo spend another year in the AHL!! (Tinordi - Weber would be a good/balanced duo) but he will likely go to Switzerland and make a million.
He and Thrower will be playing in the Memorial Cup with Saskatoon this year. After how many years of choking with great teams we just decided to host it to get in.
