I'll probably check it out. And maybe even take a Ro cha cha road trip or two.

I would just call the Amerks box office, 1-855-GO-AMERKS, doubt they're ready to sell tickets for this yet since the game is still listed as being in Rochester though.

For past games, you've been able to get them from the Amerks or Sabres box offices, and they did internet sales too.

I'd expect the same for this.

Rochester Amerks to play a home game in Buffalo - by Kevin Oklobzija - Staff Writer.

With the NHL in lockdown due to yet another labor stalemate, the Buffalo Sabres will give their fans American Hockey League action for at least one night. The Sabres are moving one Rochester Americans home game: from Oct. 21 at Blue Cross Arena at the Rochester Community War Memorial to Oct. 23 at the First Niagara Center in downtown Buffalo.

If the lockout extends well into December, one or more additional Amerk games could be moved to Buffalo. But Sabres president Ted Black said nothing else in October or November will be touched. Black said he understands that many Amerk season-ticket holders may not like the switch, but added that every attempt will be made to make the switch as painless as possible. Fans with tickets to the Oct. 21 game can exchange them for a 100-level seat in Buffalo. Fans who cannot, or chose not to, attend the game at First Niagara Center can exchange the Oct. 21 ticket for another Amerk ticket or a refund. He said additional perks are in the works.
LS: Sorry about quoting the whole article - figured since the article wasn't available directly from the link that was posted above - it would be allowed. Then I realized later that probably wasn't the case - went back to shorten the article by only including the ticket info part and mention you could see the rest of the article by googling "Amerks in Buffalo" thus bypassing the "block". But I was caught before I could do that. (Guess the moderators arn't being locked out and replaced by replaced moderators who would probably be like the NFL replacement officials and miss my post. LOL!) My fault - Won't happen again.

I hope this is the only game they move. The 4 in the last lockout was excessive.

D&C articles only lock you out if you're browsing their site. Even if you already hit your quota of free articles, if you go there from a link you can still read it.

Heres a link to an article on the Amerks website about the movement of the game -
includes ticket prices and when tickets go on sale.

Maybe they can just give me tickets and take the difference out of my STH balance.
