Still think Gatineau will be higher their top 3 lines can keep up with teams like the Mooseheads and Armada depth-wise. Robert Steeves expects to be back by Christmas after a sucessful surgery, and they are always well coached as well.

Reway-Burke-Dube
Soumakis-Chapman-Poirier
Welding-Regimbald-Hyka

on top of a solid D.

I like the wildcard pick of Baie-Comeau being 5th, I could see them making noise this season for sure

Good read , thanks for the article. Intresting to see BC at #5 , they seem a bit young yet but will definately be among contenders next couple of seasons... Gatineau have had some tough breaks but I think they'll still be a top 5 team. That depends alot on how Nishi adjusts though.

nice read.

I'd swap Baie Comeau and Val d'or though.

I really like val D'or chances to be top 5 this year.

Is it Christmas now? I had heard that it wouldn't be until the spring.

yes, they changed the prognosis as the recovery is going well and they were very pessimistic when the injury happened.

Some weird things in the article...

Blainville-Boisbriand: Tommy Giroux, Cedric Paquette, Raphael Pouliot and Christopher Clapperton will provide secondary scoring and offensive depth to an already potent line-up.

Pouliot isn't even in the league anymore...

Moncton: The team is all set in goal with Alex Dubeau, but their defensive corps is not quite ready to step-up, which is why the team will only be ready to contend for the league championship in 2013-14.

In 2013-14 they'll lose the Saulnier twins, Veilleux and Jaskin who are 4/5 of their offense... They'll also lose their 2 best defensemen in Melindy and Racine.

Baie-Comeau: The 18 year-old captain, Felix Girard, is ready to explode offensively after a good season in 2011-12.

He had an ordinary season in 2011-12 and didn't really step up from his rookie season. He had two season of 17 and 21 points...

The defensive squad will be led by Julien Lepage...

He's like their 6th-7th defenseman...

Val D'Or: On defense, Guillaume Gelinas is the only puck-moving defenseman.

Sergeev???

Lol @ Moncton not being able to contend until 2014... It's this year and Danny seems to make that clear by getting Racine, Veilleux and Jaskin for this season.

Gonna disagree with the eagles rank are they going to be top contenders no but I think they'll be higher than 15th (11th to 14th is my guess) time will only tell right

Solid article but some facts are wrong.
