FEL started yesterday and Iiro Pakarinen (FLA 7th rd pick 2011) had an amazing night scoring 2 goals and 2 assists. (Pakarinen red #81 goals in 0.36 and 2.20)

Yeah, its gonna be a tough year for Huberdeau without much help. Hopefully he gets dealt sooner rather than later, even though the price will be high and you dont know when the NHL season will start (risk).

Hubie can't be traded until the day after the season breaks for Christmas (and assuming he makes the WJHC, he wouldn't be able to be officially traded until the tourney is over). He'll play the first half with little to no help, keep the team going, and if the lockout is still going on at Christmas, he'll be traded to a contender (likely one of Broisbriand or Quebec).
Hubie is supposed to be in for tomorrow, so it looks like it was just a bad scare.
Here's the hit courtesy of the fine folks at hockeyfights.com
You can barely see the contact, but it was a late hit targeting the head (and he extended into the hit)
Thanks! Actually that was cool to see Huby get up afterwards and actually skate towards Downe like he wanted a piece of him. At least you know the guy isnt going to back down from bigger players when he's in the NHL.

Huberdeau fought Racine a couple of seasons ago. He's a tough kid.
Hodges has cooled down after his hot start in Vancouver. He's still involved on the ice, but nothing has been working for him. He's often trying to hard too stick handle in traffic, when he should be making a simple play. Still, he's an effective player, and should get his points as the season progresses.

Hodges is in a tough spot, there. Victoria isn't the best team, and he's going to be called upon to carry a lot of the load without a ton of help around him. Gogolev is essentially the only other offensive threat on that team.
Logan Shaw with 4 g 4a in 4 games for Quebec. Not sure if he's playing with Grigorenko or not, but based on the hot start, I would venture to guess that he is.
If anyone's interested in case coach Sneddon drops a tidbit about Connor Brickley, the UVM Coach's Show with Kevin Sneddon will air Wednesdays at about 9:30am and can be streamed live as part of the Charlie, Ernie, and Lisa show from their website.
First show of the season just ended - one of the few done live in the WVMT studio, and nothing said of interest, but the Cats open their season with an exhibition game this weekend. Brickley was frequently mentioned topic until his injury last season, so if he bounces back you know he'll come up.
