Mtl-Qc series with NHL players starting sept 27, Ontario might join as well
There might be some hockey (with NHL players) in north america after all^^
1 game each week, traveling to different cities in the province.
We want to continue to train and be ready when the season starts. There are guys in the Montreal area and the guys in the Quebec region. Players outside will add to that. The concept would be a Quebec team faces a team in Montreal.
The Senators have heard about efforts by Philadelphia’s Max Talbot and Bruno Gervais to organize charity games between Montreal and Quebec City NHLers during the lockout and they may follow suit with their Ontario rivals.
This friendly series will begin next Thursday at the Centre Multisport de Châteauguay.
Marc-Andre Fleury, Kristopher Letang, Derick Brassard, David Perron, Marc-Edouard Vlasic, David Desharnais, Alexandre Burrows, Simon Gagne and Mathieu Darche will include the game. The names of Claude Giroux, Daniel Briere and Patrice Bergeron have circulated among other earlier this week, but they still have not made known their intentions.
"We had the idea of creating a friendly series from the beginning of negotiations with the NHL. The goal is to meet supporters and by doing so, to give the proceeds raised to different foundations for children, "said Talbot in a statement.

This tour will offer players a game per week, on Thursday or Friday. Tickets will be sold at a cost of $ 20. All proceeds will be donated to charitable causes as well as various minor hockey associations.
