I'll be pissed if it ends with an Andy/Erin wedding. The whole storyline between them is terrible to begin with.

I'm glad the show is finally ending though. It was a great show, but it's been so bad the past couple seasons.

I still have to watch Season 8....

This is still one of my favorite all time shows. Seasons 1 -... probably 6 were great. Then the show started going downhill fast. Michael left, and the show went to pot. It's still watchable, but it's so disappointing to see what it's become. I'll certainly watch Season 8, and then watch Season 9, but if it doesn't end in a suitable ending that gives us all closure I may cry...

Season 8 was still decent television. A lot of people just had such high expectations from the S3-5 prime that S8 looks awful in comparison.

I don't think we'll see a wedding as the final episode. It'd be an awful way to end the series. How do you say your goodbyes at a wedding? You can't.

The series will end with a cute episode that wraps things up but largely stays at The Office. I can see a few different possibilities. Jim becomes manager could be one way to end it.

I personally would like to see the Dunder Mifflin branch close down, with the final episode having everyone pack up and leave. It'd make for a touching farewell, with everyone moving on with their lives. It'd also bring the series full-circle - remember that in the first season they were at risk of corporate downsizing and having the branch closed.

Season 8 might be worth watching for James Spader alone. It might also be worth throwing in the garbage for that dumb redhead.

They are already working on the Office spin off with Dwight going back to Schrute Farms full time.aul Lieberstein (Toby) will be one of the writer/producers involved.

as much as I love Dwight Schrute, this show will not be as good as the Office was in it's hayday. Paul Lieberstein's tenure as show runner on the Office included all the seasons that weren't very good. This show will probably suck, but who knows maybe it'll surprise me.

What I want to see:

1) Michael/Holly wedding
2) Andy finally not getting ****ed over
3) The office itself burning to the ground (what better way to end it with the bane of all the characters existences going up in flames?)
4) Dwight getting a spinoff show after he gets the insurance money from the office burning down

I wouldn't mind that if that already wasn't the end of Office Space.

Season 2 was the best of the series by far. The peak was 2 and 3 with the next couple seasons being good, but nowhere near the peak.

I'm with you on that. Season 2 and 3 were excellent, while the other seasons some very good episodes, but weren't as consistently good.

I think the not-so-good seasons coincided with Toby taking over as showrunner. Greg Daniels returning should be a nice way to end this show.

It'll be somewhat bittersweet for me. Absolutely loved this show and it'll always be something I can turn on, but the past few seasons only had a few bright spots. I'm glad they at least got to end it on their terms and weren't cancelled.

Who said one of the employees has to set it, though? Just have something go wrong.

Even in its decline it was still better than most other shows on TV. I still enjoyed the latest season.

Yep.

Compared to older seasons, it may not (okay, is not) as good as it used to be, but it's still one of the best shows going right now.

It was only a matter of time.

I thought season 8 was excellent, and a lot better then 6 and 7. I'm excited for tonight.

Season 7 of the Office is like the 1974-75 version of the Washington Capitals. Nellie is Bill Mikkelson.

Decent episode. Hopefully Jim will be more exciting now, looking forward to seeing how that plays out. Also, glad to see Andy showing some balls and being a dick to Nellie.
