Boxscore stats won't tell his true value to his game, I hope if he goes pointless in a few stretches posters don't get on him. Scary to think he can really hurt someone out there this year, even in practice he knocked that D man on his can with a half hearted shoulder. Not just saying this because he is ours, but he is an intimidating presence in the line up. Explains why I jumped up when Burkie called his name at the draft. Going to be a fan favorite I predict even if he doesn't light up the score sheets some nights.

This.

I hope Biggs becomes a Lucic or Clowe like player for us. He's something the Leafs need going forward if we want to win a Cup.

Biggs in his first fight. Knocked the piss out of the other kid. After the refs tried to pry Biggs off the other guy the other guy tossed a late dirty punch, missed Biggs and clipped the ref

Biggs would be one of the toughest guys in the NHL right now. It's scary to see what he's going to do to these kids.

Really wanted to see Biggs play tonight, but couldn't find a way. From reading some twitter it sounds like he's been physically dominant though.

At the risk of getting people going, he reminds me a lot of Gabriel Landeskog in his draft year for the Rangers. Albeit he is much bigger but also Less talented too.

Biggs and Rielly will be exciting to follow this year. These two guys could be impact NHL players. Along with guys like Finn, Sparks, Leivo, Percy and of course all our prospects in the AHL we've got a very solid farm system set-up here. Tons of guys with potential to be solid NHLers.

I know man. He is exactly what the leafs need too haha. But I think with Biggs, people are going to underestimate his upside, hell, we've already seen it. It's also similar to Landeskog how people said he might not have a ton of upside, that he was a sure thing but might not even score 30 goals or that he will be an average 2nd-3rd liner or whatever it was. I'm not saying Biggs will ever be as good as Landeskog, but I think he has a lot of upside and a lot more than most think.

I know this comparison has been made a lot, but if he can score 20 goals in the NHL on a consistent basis, it's looking like he has the potential to be a Lucic type player. 6'3 224 lbs and still growing. One thing I notice about Tyler, when there is a collision on the ice, he is the one left standing. Charting his progression this year on what looks like a good Oshawa team this year is going to be fun.

Agreed and very well said.

I honestly hope he can show he has offense and skill in him, i know somethings can't be taught as those come naturally. However he's a hard working kid so I hope he can learn how to be effective.

Do not see Brown in him at all. High expectation would be Lucic.

I personally think Biggs can be more than a fighter. Sure he doesn't have the offensive acumen that Brown has/had in his junior days, if he can be half of what brown is today, we have a solid prospect/pick.
