I'm pretty sure Gainey and Bergevin had little to do with the drafts. I doubt as GMs they even have time to follow prospects in depth enough to make decisions on every round.

I don't know how Bozon is always able to get away, and be wide open staring at an open net. That's what makes me optimistic about him.

Hockey sense. He knows how to read the play and position himself accordingly. At least that is what I saw from the highlights. Has pretty good hands too.

Wish I can watch these games online.

I do keep saying that GM had very little to do for sure. I will never add a GM's name in a head scout success. Makes no sense to me, Timmins has been pretty good regularly, yet, he saw 4 different GM's. But then, while we don't exactly know the strategy behind it, I do remember somebody whether it was from Timmins himself or Gauthier or whoever, that Gauthier worked differently than the others. It seems as if he didn't exactly wanted Timmins to go with a specific list of 1 to 100, but moreso a group of players around where they'd be picking. Whether it changes or not, I have no idea. And again, I do keep saying that the only thing you can bring a GM's name for the success of his head scout, is the one who brought him in in the first place. Thanks to André Savard. No props to Gainey, has some wanted for keeping him there.....Gainey joined 1 year later...way too soon to address a guy's work. And then later....it would take an idiot to remove Timmins from there as he started racking the great stories almost every single year. What this 2012 year did though is that Timmins, for probably the first time, was able to mix SEXY and VALUABLE. We got a lot of popular names this time around and that might actually do something. While the other years, we most likely started to appreciate Timmins work as the years progresses. I know, there were other years that we got some sexy names...but like last year? I don't remember. I know....it also helps to get the sexy ones when you pick that early....

By the way people....this is the reason why development camps reports are just there for fun....While fun to do and read, while informative it could be, we do have to remember that Bozon was amongst the dissapointment of those camps by not only me...but some others especially as far as his shot is concerned.....But camps are camps....and games are games. Good job Timmy.

Unless he gets injured, he'll be playing in Edmonton on October the 17th.

Going to that game, definitely.

I watched the Royals-Blazers game last night specifically to watch Bozon play.

I thought he would have a more prominent role on the team. It seemed like he was on second line/second pp duty (doesn't play the PK). He's a very smart player, was always in a good position without the puck and was very efficient with it. He had a couple of good take-aways and has good speed. He was nearly clobbered in a mid-ice hit, but saw it just in time and was able to get out of the way. Not physical at all, in fact I didn't see him throw a hit once. There was one play where he was dangling and the Royals Brett Cote just one arm shoved him down, which led to some chuckles in the crowd. He had a secondary assist on the Blazers game tying goal, but it might as well been a primary. He had a nice move just inside the blue line to keep the play alive and found an open man streaking.

All in all he had a decent game. His play reminds me of our own Aaron Palushaj. A smart player with speed, that lacks a physical game. Like Palushaj he'll need to bulk up and add a bit of grit to his game to make it in the pro's IMO.

His shot is gonna get him to the AHL easily but he needs to be less passive.
