Beginning of the season is time for these clubs to shine and then the reality hits when top clubs have found their game better etc. Though I really hope SaiPa continues this form.

I know, but three clean wins to start the season is still the best start SaiPa has had at least this century. Hopefully they will manage to get a spot in the top-10 this year once they get players back from injuries.

Not saying Ässät deserved any points in that game, but the refs in this one against Kärpät today were absolutely ridiculous. Both teams played a pretty clean game and somehow manage to get 17 minors in total. Professional fulltime refs would be really cool. Obviously would take time for it to get better, but it's been a problem for such a long time.

Well you can only improve from that and next one will be with Jesse Joensuu in Pori on a Saturday against HPK. Hopefully Aki Uusikartano also gets well by that game.

Tomorrow is Jokerit's home opener against TPS and Jokerit fans will make the biggest tifo ever in SM-Liiga. Materials cost 2000 eur and the fans paid themselves. Hopefully the team can take season's first win.

Ramstedt and Rinkinen lead the league with 9 points already

Could be best points season for Rinkinen in his career so far,

and could Ramstedt match the 43 point season he had with HIFK a few years ago?

Esko Sep... I can't remember the little cocky boy's name from Urheilulehti but he just called Ramstedt superstar in SM-Liiga level.

Shouldn't listen to anything (hockey related) they say from Urheilulehti.

Certainly a very hot start and both of them are playing really well, but we will see if they get figured out or will they be at the top of the scoring board at the halfway point of and the end of the regular season.

It's listed that way just because Sallinen line usually starts the game. Ramstedt and Aaltonen lines play mostly powerplay.

Lukko leading 3-0 against KalPa after the first.

Down 4-3 in the second.

Controversial goal by Brian Willsie:

In other news Jesse Joensuu scores his second goal to make it 4-1 for Ässät!

Yeah what's goin on over there? Eaves, Hahl, Mäki, Niemi all not in the lineup? Are they hurt? I know Ben-Amor and Ruutu are still suspended long-term.

Yuup and Hardt too. Hahl hopefully makes return next week.

Valtteri Filppula will be a huge help coming next week.

Gotta like the Jokerit's youngsters at 4th line against TPS. Physical energy game plus goals. Matti Lamberg and Saku Salminen are becoming one of my favourite players.
