Eric Desjardins

I would like to ask: is Eric Desjardins still under contract with the Flyers? If no, are they willing to offer him a new deal and for how much? If yes, are they willing to move him and what would be the price? I assume that he's more valuable for the Flyers than the return they could get for him. How was he this season? Thanks.

desjardins is a ufa, as for resigning him, i dont know. if they do, it'll be for less than he's on right now for one year i would think.

Desjardins is now terrible, there should be no reason anyone wants him.

IMO he will retire a Flyer. He has his face so far up Clarke butt, he'll never be able to get it out of there.

Hopefully he has already played his last game then. He was a tremendous Flyer in his prime and we're greatful for his contriubtions over the years, but he is flat out finished. He was just absolutely god awful down the stretch, the worst player on the Flyers easily.

If you're thinking about Desjardins in Montreal, forget it. I remember reading that he said that he hated playing for Montreal a few years ago.

was there a worse D pairing alive the last bit of the year and playoffs than Rico and Gauthier?......it was hard to watch them climb over the boards together...

He did get injured during the season, causing him to miss a chunk of games. I would consider him for 1 more season. Really a classy guy and 1 of the guys I really respected over the last decade. Will go down as 1 of the better dmen ever to play for the Flyers. Met him once about 12 years ago.

He's not the player he used to be but IMO he's still pretty good and can fill a lesser role than he's used too. I think that he would be a good addition to a team that supports its D in a #4 or 5 role.

sure, that would cut down his giveaways to 4 from 10 a game
