Back to my usual silliness. I put twenty bucks on Oregon State to beat UCLA, Michigan to beat Notre Dame and K-State to knock off Oklahoma. $2,318 pay out
According to this story, both NFLN and Red Zone should be on TWC by Sunday. Based on my TWC experience, I'd be surprised by that quick a turnaround. But I think next Thursday is possible.
They're already on now. NFL NETWORK ON MY FREAKING TV!!!!!!!!
ESPN continues to surprise me with their lack of hockey knowledge. ESPN 3 had a question during the commercial break asking something along the lines of "What former Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup champion and Norris Trophy winning defenseman announced his retirement this offseason?"
crazy thing is those upsets aren't that outlandish. That said, I don't think I'd bet on KState over Oklahoma.
Oregon State won, KSU is up 10-6 in the 3rd and Michigan is down 10 but tons of time left. I can't believe I have a legit shot at this BS lol.
Also, for good karma, I stopped at the liquor store and picked up an Olde English. Football watching in Calgary is getting straight up G tonite

The answer: Nikklas Lindstrom.
I liked the ESPN one today during the Virginia//TCU game: "TCU has produced an NFL MVP and a Super Bowl MVP, who were they?"
The NFL MVP is obviously Tomlinson, but I have no f***ing clue who the Super Bowl MVP was. I intentionally avoided the answer when it came up cause I feel like I should know. May take a day or two but I hope I can come up with it. Tho I have a gut feeling that since Tomlinson was so obvious this one is gonna be obscure as ****
I only lost 20 bucks so I don't really care, but 23 hundred wouldda been nice
Serves me right for betting on either of the Michigan teams tho. They both suck, and shouldn't even be ranked. In fact, I'll go one step further and just flat out call the B1G a joke. The Irish are terrible, but the two Michigan teams managed to make them look like Alabama two weeks in a row.
Also, I've decided, that my goal for the Jaguars this season is to win enough games that we don't pick first. I don't want Matt Barkley anywhere near my team.
That would be the tears of Patriots fans for me yesterday. Almost makes up for the Steelers losing. Almost. Especially considering the Ratbirds are who beat the Patsies.

I'm sure the tears from Clemson fans are mixed in there somewhere, right?
I expected to lose, though...for the exact reasons that we did lose. ****** play from the O-line and inadequate defense.

2 words: Geno ****ing Smith. Best QB in this draft IMO. But since he's a "system" QB he won't go #1.
