Question: NHL Network

Does anyone know if the NHL Network has plans to televise AHL / Jr. games etc.
during the Jacobs lockout?

Don't know & sorry I can't offer any info. Probably not, as this would remind of lockout. Best hope in Boston area is that NESN broadcasts PB games. Lil' help?

You guys in Canada are covered, needless to say. No dish, no OHL, W, etc.

Any info appreciated,

GH

I watch NHL Network all the time and I remember watching Dougie in some Niagara games. With that being in season, I would hope they would televise more with there being a lockout. I don't know any facts though.

It bums, but wouldn't surprise of the approach is reruns, reruns, reruns. Airing AHL or other leagues on the NHL network, in lockout mode, may be a bridge too far.

I believe that Jacobs has personally fired each employee at the NHLN and ate their children

I believe in the US they were showing a game every Friday night/Saturday morning. I can't imagine they will show any less. I doubt the AHL gets any coverage though.

My silver lining for the lockout was that they would stop showing those ridiculous reruns of Oil Change. Yet it continued to air at midnight during the week last week.

They have those "Day That Changed the Game" but it seems like they only have four different ones.

the nhl should look at mlb network and wonder how they could make their channel half as good. mlb network is the best of the big 4.

welcome back. Hey I've had my problems with Jacobs and the way he ran the Bruins just curious though- were you happy or sad they won the Cup.

anyways, they will televise some game I believe. why not. If Hall is healthy enough to dress for Oklahoma City we may see all their games on the network. I'll check out. (I don't take this personal, business; and if was an owner would want changes, and if a player would be like bleep off with 20% salary reduction)

Wow, just reading Jack Edwards and Brick are considered part time NESN employees and don't get paid....yeesh, guess makes sense when you step back but wow, they and many, many others are going to be impacted.

Here is hoping this gets settled fast- just thinking under normal conditions the Bruins would likely be having open training camp practices at the Vault this weekend

Showing Mike Richards and James Neal NHL 36 30 times a day has worked so magnificently for them, why stop during a lockout?

As well as the draft. It sucked the first time so I turned it off then. I e-mailed NESN and asked them if they were going to show any AHL games but they don't seem to answer fans. Crappy situation.

I wanna watch the Bergeron one again. Oh man, that part when he can't find his equipment, but then he does find it? Brilliance.

I know the CHL has exclusivity with Rogers/Shaw/Sportsnet in Canada but not with the US based teams. Not sure NHLN can televise them.

You can order OHL games on line with all sorts of different packages or a single game for $6.99. http://ohl.neulion.com/ohl/

Wish I had the time to stream games online for free for you guys (and gals), just not enough time in the day for me and can't be in two places at once

Not sure if they're going to televise AHL games.

However, the NHL network is still worth every penny to me.

Last night I watched game 6 of the pens and wings series. At some point they'll have game 7 between the B's and nucks. I've even seen the hnic broadcast. Pretty cool for us americans.

Not to mention when Kane plays catch with his dad in slow-mo in the middle of Chicago.
