Yep. In the NHL the defender would of have probably pushed him on the boards once he passed the puck behind him. None the less gr8 play by Pleky

One thing Plekanec is really good is at stealing the puck from a D fumbling with it and creating a breakaway. He does it all the time at the blueline. It's one of the reason why he's such a great PKer.

Even when he messes up the breakaway it's still huge on the PK because it takes away momentum. It's definitely one of his specialties.

Yeah, he used to do that in the NHL a couple of years ago, but dmen around the league figured out that particular deke since. Pretty awesome play. It's nice to look at all the little elements of the deke which can make it successful against unprepared opponents.

I mean Kladno, yes he's playing with Jagr and Tlusty and they are dominating the Extraliga right now. And don't forget they are playing on big ice so a lot more space for them to work their magic.
