Stop pouting and just admit your post was incredibly premature. Another goal and an assist tonight for Stefan. Patience my friend...

17 pims for Severson? That's it. I'm proclaiming him our future Shea Weber.

Speaking of pims, it's also nice to see Matteau get through a game without taking a penalty.

Also, Boucher shot out of a cannon last season and by the end, we were wondering what happened to him. It's way too early to call anyone good or bad.

Coquitlam Express seems to keep up-to-date stats on the team website. Looks like Kerfoot has 4 assists in 2 games so far, all at even strength.

As far as watching QMJHL goals, I have no idea.

Right where NJ needs more goals from, nearly in the paint. What a bust.

Today we posted an interview with Shawn Mullin, the play by play guy from Swift Current. Spoke about Reece Scarlett and Graham Black for about 20 minutes. He broke them down pretty well, about 20 minutes into the episode over at http://talkingred.com/

I watched that game. Boucher was solid and had a few good chances. He did take a bad penalty while on the PK though and that led to Kitchener's 2nd goal. I thought Thomson played pretty well too.

Sounds like he tuned someone up. Nothing wrong with having a nasty streak.

I definitely like seeing him crash the net like that, but I'm also hoping he will develop his offensive skills in the Q, like his shot and playmaking ability. We want him scoring skill goals too, not just hustle goals.

Sarnia lost both Yakupov and Galchenyuk, correct? We may not see a huge improvement from Boucher this season (in terms of stats, at least) if the team struggles.

Galchenyuk is still there and Boucher had a lot of ice time so I think he could have a good year statistically whether or not Sarnia is very good.
