Many of us Hawk fans thought he was a steal and he has only shown to produce in the playoffs.
He is sign at 2.5 for two more seasons a just can't put it all together offensively. His shot seems unimpressive, for a kid who scored 20 goals twice so young, he plays well defensively and is a hell of a skater.
Is there any interest in Frolik? And what if any is his value?

He gives 100% effort every time he's on the ice, his cap hit is higher than his salary (good for cap floor teams), and he's very good defensively.
Those are pretty much his only positives at this point.
I'm in favor of keeping him. We won't do anything with the cap space we'd save and it's not like we'll be getting something really valuable for him. I'd rather just roll the dice on his offense bouncing back to a point that he's either useful or at least worth something mildly useful.
Far better as a winger. Doesn't have the strength nor the acumen.
As mentioned, he gives it his all but needs to hang on to the puck for better setup plays from board areas as in give and go, with he being the go to the open area guy because he attempts too many long distance wristers which usually result in other team possession.

IMO. worth a 4th on pure singular value.
Islanders need a stop-gap 2nd line center. Not even worth it for Frolik? We're pretty deep at wing this year surprisingly.
Same value as Gilbert Brule last season. Zero trade value but maybe gets claimed if waived. I actually feel that either player could potentially be effective enough to warrant a roster spot, but both are likely to be over looked in favor of cheaper and/ or younger players.
I was mildly impressed with his play in the VAN-CHI 1st round series last year. Seemed to work well on a checking line. Not sure about that offence though. I'd offer a 3rd if the Canucks didn't already have Hansen in that checking 3rd line RW role and heaps of 2/3rd line wingers.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Washington could use a player like Frolik. He did have those 20 goal seasons and he does have offensive capabilites, just hasn't worked out very well in Chicago. Don't know what the Chicago would want but I could definitely see Frolik succeeding in Washington
If the lockout is short Montreal may have interest while Bourque is out with an injury (or even when he is back and make them compete for top 6 minutes). If Frolik is fast and good defensively then it sounds like he will fit on the LW on the Plekanec - Gionta line. I would hope for some offense out of him but he can't be any worse than Blunden, Darche, or Geoffrion.
Would offer up Malhotra for Frolik in a one for one swap. Not to sure most Canuck fans would like this one, but I would.
Some fans would like it but no way in hell GMMG does it. Let's see how well Frolik is liked here when he starts three quarters of his shifts in the d-zone and is expected to play great PK and win tons of fos...
I'm going to propose something ridiculous (Toronto's junk for not so junk - from the limited responses I gather from Chicago fans, they're not so keen on Frolik, which is why I've proposed this) that will most likely result in intense criticism from both fan bases... but how about this:
Lombardi+Connolly+3rd for Frolik.
The reason the Leafs do it: opens up a roster spot for Kadri, plus a sort of reclamation project for Carlyle.
Why Chicago does it: Two (weak) reasons... Connolly is a very capable (but expensive) 3rd line centre, slightly strengthening their centre core. In addition, after this season Chicago is able to shed itself of one roster spot if they so choose to not re-sign either.
Note: at this point, I'm going to treat him like he's ~20 point player with 3rd line minutes, so is essentially a dump.
