Exactly - like you say, if the breakaway dissipates, he always has some sort of plan to tie up the puck and one or two of their defenders. Allows his fellow PK'ers to get off on a change, kills time, gets the crowd into it.

Just a great player. I hope he wants to be a Hab for life. He's pretty much done everything this organization has asked of him over the years.

If Gainey had stayed, Jagr would be playing for us. Now he's in Dallas.

My tought exactly, the tought of having him to help the kid's is incredible. He's the kind of guy you want around the kids. He was an underdog, he succeeded (he's still somewhat underapreciated.)

Some people still want to trade him
¸
We should be looking to trade the others not him. He's been developed by this organization, he knows what it takes.

Plekanec really is the perfect mentor for Eller, even if Eller has much more talent.

Talent is not all raw-physical talent.

Plekanec is top-tier when you're talking about understanding of the game.

I agree, his hockey IQ is outstanding, but he doesn't hit so he's useless.

Very true. I think that if Pleks can take Eller under his wing and instill that same hard working attitude (which I think Eller is not too far off of at the moment) then we could have a real good player on our hands.

Pleks has great understanding of the game, but Eller can afford to be a a second or wtv behind pleks in reading the play with what he makes up for in reach and strength.

Give Plekanec decent wingers and he will perform.

Even without wingers last season, he managed to have a pretty decent production.

I want to see the highlights, but they are still getting put together (I think). The Czech language is great!

A lot of that reaching ended up with trips to the penalty box for hooking by Eller that I have a problem with. Being out of position is bad in today's NHL.

If Pleks can get him to speed up his reads that would be great.

I've heard myself that Czech sounds funny to the Poles.

And I hope these highlights will be posted somewhere because it's worth it.

I would like to see him play with Pacioretty and Cole sometimse ... to see what he can do with 2 big & fast offensive winger.

Nop.

He need's someone that see's the ice well (i.e. Jagr.). He needs someone that has similar style.. Well rounded offensive player that can pass and shoot but also deke and get in good positions.

Patches and Cole arent this kind.

He did look good in the one game he got to play significant time with them (I think it was vs Vancouver), but I agree that Plekanec is at his best when he has one winger he can give and go with.

Feel's good to be on the CH boards and not on the other boards... Here every body pretty much agrees easily

Joke's aside, I think, if by some kind of injury plagued season we lose wingers, we should give a try to Palushaj on his wing. He's the kind of player that would fit reaaaalll good with him.

Speed, vision, good defensive play and good shot... That's what he'd need.
