News Article: Will the Ducks split up their Big 3?

Even though I'm a Leafs fan I saw this posted today on The Hockey News and wondered what you thought of it?

Not really sure why this gets labeled as "news." Purely speculation and hypotheticals.

I always thought that one of them will get moved eventually but that "article" doesn't really change my thoughts in any direction.

I'd be willing to put sizeable money on Ryan not being on the top line next season.

I think they wait and see what Perry wants before they decide whether to move one of them.

Big 3? Odd seeing the picture just shows the Twins; no Ryan. Anyhow, I never really thought of them as the big 3 even though we say RPG a lot, but Ryan is the one that moves to other lines.

Personally I think Ryan is the safest of the 3 given Getzlaf and Perry are due for new contracts and Ryan is still signed at a pretty good deal for 3 more years.

I can see that Getzlaf may want to stay given that his wife has family in the area and they are expecting their 2nd child soon. Perry, on the other hand, seems like the one that could that could leave for a tight budgeted team.
