Only when it's an upset loss (or any loss to us) - I honestly think Florida State is going to run away with the ACC given the way they've been Beast Moding through the ACC.

South Carolina's hardest test is the three-week stretch starting in two weeks: vs. Georgia, @LSU, @Florida. If we can come out of that 2-1 I'll be a very happy Gamecock. I also worry that Kentucky could turn into a landmine game if they're thinking ahead to the Dawgs.

Spent the past weekend playing some NCAA 13. I can't wait until the day they have South Carolina's actual fight song in the game and not the generic crap they've had for years.

Sadly Bailey and Austin will go before him, and Alston might get completely overlooked.

If we continue to play like we have, I think we've got a chance against LSU. Driskel needs to continue to take care of the ball and Gillislee needs to have a big game.

I'm not 100% on Tavon going before Geno. Bailey's a top 15 pick, no question in my mind on that one. My guess is that Geno goes to someone in the mid-late first (Steelers would be a perfect fit) and Tavon (another good fit for the Steelers) will go late first-second. Alston will be undrafted but will be a pretty effective pro back. Very good pass blocker and a good physical change of pace runner.

Austin is getting lots of love.

I am guessing

Austin 1st 1/2 of the 1st round, Bailey 2nd 1/2 of the first round, Geno 2nd round

Seriously, the SEC would do us all a favor if Auburn was ordered to change their name to the War Eagles, LSU to the Bayou Bengals, and let Mizzou keep the Tigers name. I'm still trying to figure out how to break the Bulldogs deadlock between Georgia and Mississippi State.

The Gamecocks will play, the Tigers 3 times this season.

Mizzou, Clemson and LSU.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 HIS HOLINESS RUSSELL WILSON IS ON MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND STAY GLUED TO THE TV FOR THREE HOURS!!!!!!!!! OMGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

Personally, I was stunned to see no special pullout section in the N&O regarding his MNF debut. This is an outrage! Moo U needs to file a complaint with the N&O at once.

I seriously love Russell Wilson. Loved him at State, loved him at Wisconsin, love him now. Kid's a gamer. Some kid's can't play when they're short. Kellen Moore's an example. Wilson's just a boss.

Maybe it's because I'm a ex-Tarheel fan, but I really didn't think Wilson got that much publicity until he went to Wisconsin. I don't know many/any State fans who think he was the Anointed One. I'll take my "irrelevancy" over your scandals, thank you very much.

Aaaaaaannnnnnnnndddddddddd, shots were fired.

EDIT: I just realized after reading your post that I've got no idea what it means. I'm really confused. My response didn't make sense. Sorry.

Hence my question of which variety of tiger that was supposed to be.

Would it help if I changed my to our? Basically I'm tired of hearing how "irrevelant" State is. Heard it when I was younger and hated it. Hear it now and still do.

And yes, UNC gets much, much, much more publicity that State gets. So I don't understand the mock outrage when really, we don't expect to see/really care to see a story about Wilson any more. He's gone and in the NFL. We're happy for him, but I don't think it's necessary to see a story about him just because he went to State. Same way we don't hear about Julius Peppers, or Philip Rivers, etc. every Sunday.

OK yeah I got what you mean, just misunderstood at first... We UNC fans aren't the brightest bunch...

Well, I'll admit that it's more the N&O freaking out about him than you guys... but believe me, there's definitely State fans out there that can't seem to let him go. Russell Wilson became Russell Wilson at Wisconsin, not Cow College.

That was a joke. As much as I dislike NC State, he spent four years there and it's disingenuous to ignore his time there.

Wondered if you might have been joking there.

I'm not saying it should be ignored... I just think people need to realize that Wisconsin is where his superstar status was achieved. I know I'm not a college football fan... but if I recall, he wasn't getting national attention while at State. He definitely did during his year at Wisconsin. Novacane seems to have it right, but he's the only State fan I've heard get it right thus far.

Honestly, they had to make one call. Simultaneous possession goes to the WR, even if the defender touches it first.

I can't blame the scabs on that one.

Agreed. Never seen this happen before though with the other team going off the field.

He CAUGHT it first. Tate just put his hands on it afterwards. There's a HUGE difference and there's just too much at stake for this to keep happening.

I'm not going to blame the refs. They don't want to be there just as much as the fans/players don't want them to be there. I honestly feel bad for these guys and how much hate they are getting.

With that said, if this doesn't make the NFL wake up, I don't know what will.
